I'm married to Horde (literally too!)

I figured I would start using this blog as a normal blog as well as when I update MRB. So, I figured I would let this out.

So, I'm Foofy a Tauren druid on Staghelm. I love being horde, I meet my husband through the game (inc snickers and lolonlinedating comments when going to the bar and picking up a drunk chick is no different). However, I wasn't always horde. I actually joined the game as Alliance.

I originally got in to the game by my Science teacher in High School. He was a huge kid (Literally). He was still in college but he was really smart..probably only like 7 years or so older than us. The reason he was so young was the school system had to pick up a teacher as soon as possible. Our original teacher was a pothead and had finally got caught and picked up by the police.

Anyway, as soon as World of Warcraft came out, he had his laptop in class and played it between classes, and if he had a Student Aid (Which I was) he'd have us level up his human paladin for him.

He didn't trust me after I said it wasn't right for you to swim through lava (I'd jump his toon into the lava in IF constantly before leveling)..But after playing it and helping his toon out, I wanted to try it. I had an xbox just sitting collecting dust at the time so I was like "Oh well"..took it to gamestop, turned it in for money, bought the game. I had to credit card or anything at the time and you needed one to start the game, so I had a buddy from an online forum I would paypal money to and he would pay for the startup until I was able to get gamecards.

So, when I created my first character, it was a Night Elf Hunter (My teacher recommended it for soloing and getting stuff done)..Her name was Gladis and god I was a terrible noob. I was gearing for looks, not stats..but god you know what? I looked good.

I leveled slow..very slow. My pc at home only had 128mb and the graphics card was intergrated. One day my teacher offered to help me out so I brought in my pc and he gave me some free ram. So I was able to make it to level 54 after 4 months of actually being able to see what I was doing. But grouping sucked. Everyone had a Night Elf hunter...So I couldn't get on much. Because of that, I rerolled horde. I wanted to be something different, something there was very little of.

Thus came Grandstorm. Being the child I was, I wanted to keep to the lore somewhat but all the names I had originally wanted was taked. So I came up with Grandstorm. Horde was completely new to me (Those who are curious, Grandstorm is Foofy's Original name)..

I played and leveled as a Resto Druid like an idiot, but no one wanted a caster druid (moonkin wasn't alive back then) and ferals were just laughed at. So, I only did few quests and ran instances galore. I loved it. I was always being whispered by people to come heal. Most of the times it was the same people I knew I could run an instance easily with.

Upon hitting 60, I raided MC a bit and just as I got into BWL, I ended up joining the Military. I had cleared everything up to Chromag in BWL before leaving so guildmates would send me letters when they downed something. However, while I was gone, a new guild formed on the server. During this time, AQ was out and then Blizzard suddenly pushed out Naxx, and this new guild wanted to clear Naxx before Xpac. They didn't technically "take" members from other guilds, but offered them the spots and people took them, killing pretty much every guild on the horde side.

So I came back to a mess. Half my friends were in the new guild, others in the old. I was being invited to the new guild by friends (even though undergeared but more for fun) and I was being taunted by my other friends not to talk to the others.

I was put in the middle and I hated it. Thats when server transfers first opened up and I was like "Ok guys, figure it out yourselves, I'm outta here. I'm not gonna pick sides".. So I left.

I had found a forum post of a server needing druids bad. The person stated all horde guilds on the server needed druids and all were welcomed. So I took it without thinking twice. There I meet up with Andrew (Azamath)..we didn't even try getting together. We didn't talk to much to eachother. I was just a new druid to the server to him. But when they did the update servers for BC when they was down for 2 days, we really started to talk since I still had an alt on my original server and we'd go there and level together.

Now, we're married. However, I look back at alliance every so often. I wonder what it would have been like if I leveled a Night Elf druid instead. They was needed too. Personally, I would love my tauren not to look so damn odd in gear. I thought long and hard about the faction transfer idea. I even have my husband saying he'd do it if I really wanted to. But I have a great guild on Hordeside I'm in now and already have offers from alliance guilds if I decide to go. But, overall, besides feeling better about my character, getting that extra 1% to hit, better racials for aza's rogue as well as shadowmeld for some world pvp fun..I don't think I could just up and leave a great guild.

So we both decided that if something should happen to the guild, We'd do it. Until then, we are completely happy with where we are. However, I still want a Night Elf Druid, so I'm leveling one..

Its really nice to have a helm look nice on you for once! :D

(I'm sure people are wondering how Foofy became Grandstorm..Well, one of my old guild's wanted to transfer servers for more competition. Upon doing so, I wanted to go with the nickname a few marines named me in AIT. And No, I'm not a marine, I'm Army Guard, During AIT we shared the same base so I always ran into them. A few of them played WoW and we'd go to the LAN center together. I was like a little sister to them so they gave me a nickname. When we transferred servers, I heard one of my buddies got shipped to IRAQ and I wanted to honor him..thus I renamed my toon)

3.1 Patch Notes--Ulduar

The patch notes are currently released and while they are not the full notes or finalized, several million people are pissed with the current state of every class in the game. From the looks of it, everything got nerfed down the board. Everything but Survival Hunters.

Anyway, lets touch base with the moonkin notes shall we?

  • Owlkin Frenzy is now properly considered an Enrage effect. Now also does not trigger from spell hits, only physical ranged and melee attacks.

So, whats it? This is all the peek that moonkin get at this time. A double nerf with only one post. Excellent in the best regards blizzard, just excellent. Owlkin frenzy was useful in PVE during large AE fights if you had the extra points and wanted to have a little fun. In PVE is was our best defense with spell pushback, as well as damage increase to hopefully get something off us.

So, with it nerfed into the ground, PVE will just move the points elsewhere while PVP cries on the inside and finally respec's feral or resto. Why wouldn't they respec? Moonkin still has no survivilability in PVP period.

Oh wait...Guess what resto got!? IMP BARKSKIN! Thats right folks! Midway in the resto tree is a talent called Imp Barkskin! Congrats you guys! Though personally, only thing I see that I like in the notes right now is this:

  • Plague Strike and Blood Plague no longer remove hots. Plague Strike’s damage increased quite a bit to compensate.

Yup, thats a great thing right there. Druids all over are cheering for this. Finally, we don't just have to stand there making baskets out of dried grass while waiting for death when we see a Death Knight coming at us. We actually will be able to heal!

Anyway, we all know these patchnotes are subject to change, and one change we all see coming is the removal of our RNG stun from Celestial Focus. BlackOut from priests was removed, so its time to take away out last stun.

So thats it. Hopefully the notes bring more promise as PTR goes on.

For those who are on PTR, you can find me as Grandstorm on the PVE server incase anyone wants to chat or just randomly dance naked with me outside instances.

Ulduar, thoughts, comments..concerns

For countless millennia, Ulduar has remained undisturbed by mortals, far away from their concerns and their struggles. But since its recent discovery, many have wondered what the structure's original purpose may have been. Some thought it a city, built to herald the glory of its makers; some thought it a vault containing innumerable treasures, perhaps even relics of the mighty Titans themselves. They were wrong. Beyond its gates lies no city, no treasure vault, no final answer to the Titan's mysteries. All that awaits those who dare set foot in Ulduar is a horror even the Titans could not, would not destroy, an evil they merely... contained.

Beneath ancient Ulduar, the Old God of death lies, whispering.... Tread carefully, or his prison will become your tomb.

As the next step in tiered raid progression in Wrath of the Lich King, Ulduar is set to blow players away with gorgeous setpieces, sprawling battlefields, and innovative boss encounters. Ulduar's design aims to provide a fun, unique, and innovative raid experience, but it also includes additional challenges - and rewards - for seasoned raiders. In this sneak-peek at World of Warcraft's newest raid dungeon, we'll take a look at some of the new content that makes Ulduar rise above the crop of amazing dungeons already available in World of Warcraft.

Welcome to Ulduar
Many players have already gotten their Wrath of the Lich King raiding feet wet in Naxxramas and the Sartharion raid, but Ulduar is the first example of the expansion's much larger, truly epic scope of raiding, as will be evident from the second you set foot in the instance. The most obvious difference between Ulduar and its predecessors is that the dungeon actually comprises two separate raid areas. The first section is an epic battle against a vast army standing between you and the entrance of the dungeon proper; in the second area, you will dive into the heart of the dungeon itself and finally discover the secrets of Ulduar.

Ulduar's new master has rallied his own massive Iron Army to guard the entrance to Ulduar and to prevent any unwanted guests - including you, especially you - from reaching the inner sanctum. Thankfully, you'll be able to face the Iron Army on even footing: although the main Horde and Alliance forces are focused on the forces beyond the Wrathgate and on each other, some who are better able to appreciate the true magnitude of Ulduar's threat have managed to scrap together a small fleet of siege vehicles to aid you in the assault.

You and your friends will have to use these vehicles wisely to break through Ulduar's defenses. A mix of motorcycles, demolishers, and siege engines will be at your disposal, each granting unique abilities to the pilot and the passenger. Motorcycle drivers, for example, can create pools of liquid tar that snare opponents and can be set on fire by area effect attacks, while demolisher passengers can load themselves into the vehicle's catapult so that the pilot can launch them into the distance. If used judiciously, these and other abilities will help decimate the Iron Army and any other threats lying in wait between you and Ulduar.

One such threat is the Flame Leviathan. After you've plowed through the innumerable ranks of the Iron Army, you will be confronted by an enormous tank. Mimiron built the Flame Leviathan as part of the V0-L7R-0N weapons platform, which means that it packs quite a punch. Normal spells and abilities won't be enough to take down this juggernaut, so you will have to rely on your siege vehicles to outmaneuver and defeat the boss. After wearing the massive war machine down, you will have to launch players onto the tank's back to destroy its defense turrets and sabotage the Leviathan before you can move on. Of course, if you'd like an additional challenge beyond this naturally frantic (but extremely fun) fight, you can try your hand at one of the Flame Leviathan's different Hard Modes (see sidebar).

Of course, the vehicle gauntlet, the Iron Army, and the battle against the Flame Leviathan are only the start of World of Warcraft's most ambitious raid to date. Patch 3.1 will hit the Public Test Realms very soon, so you will be able to see for yourself what other challenges await beyond the gates of ancient Ulduar.

Hard Boiled
Ulduar brilliantly illustrates the new design challenges and innovations that come with the bigger scope of the expansion's raids. In order to make raid content more accessible, it has to offer a lot of variety, but it also needs to include a very granular means for players to adjust a raid's difficulty. This concept was first realized in the Burning Crusade with the introduction of Heroic mode, and Wrath of the Lich King is developing the idea even further with new Hard Modes.

Boss fights that have a Hard Mode are affected by certain variables which players can control and which change the encounter's difficulty. For example, spread throughout Ulduar's vehicle section are four defense towers you can destroy. The more towers you leave intact, the harder the encounter with the Flame Leviathan will be, but the loot will also be better.

Ulduar isn't the first dungeon to include Hard Mode, but it certainly makes the most use of it. Out of 14 bosses, 11 will have a Hard Mode that offers additional challenges and rewards. Ulduar will appeal to a wide range of play styles, but the dungeon also has great longevity and a high replay value. -- MMO Champion

Well folks, there it is. A look into 3.1. Everyone has been looking forward to this for a long time. After reading through this however, first thing that comes to my mind..

you will have to launch players onto the tank's back to destroy its defense turrets and sabotage the Leviathan before you can move on.

This should be highly interesting and definitely something new to the game I welcome. Being a moonkin, first thing I'm gonna do is call dibs. Who says moonkin can't fly now eh?

Either way, just seeing this gives us a good insight that the instance will be different from anything else we encountered since the introduction of Siege Vehicles for WG. While the idea itself is good in terms, the problems comes with people and their controls. Many people dislike controlling vehicles in WG due to the way they are used to moving. Wether it be with a mouse, keyboard, or a touch pad user.

The controls of the Siege Vehicles in WG aren't to hard. However, touchpad users do have a harder time controlling them (I know, I tried) and thus..could this limit your raid? Will these encounters allow for errors on the controller's behalf with the vehicle? (Getting stuck on terain like we normally do, bad controls, horrible turns at times)

If these issues are addressed, then there should be no problems, atleast that I can see. However, I just want to be launched..even if I miss, it would be highly amusing to see a moonkin fly over the battlefield.

I wonder if we can moonfire spam as we fly, then that would just be pure win.
-------------------

For those wondering, I will be taking part in the PTR, so any footage of Ulduar, I will fraps and post here. Especially if its of flying chickens.

Haste Chatter!

Lets Talk haste!

Since joining my new Guild Reawaken, I finally ran into a person I can chat with ingame about extensive moonkin theorycrafting. He brought up several good points which made me look at what we will be talking about today. Haste!

Moonkins love haste. Its like crack to us, but of course we like other stuff to. Its good to keep both even though (crit and Haste and not over stack one or the other). At the current point in the game, people are at 530-600 haste. Some people may not see how they do it, but others do. These people are also still dishing out some good damage. With Uldar around the corner, we need to start looking at the values again.

For those who don't know..the global cooldown for casters with no haste is 1.5 seconds. Haste can lower your global to 1 second. For Moonkin, 1 second starfires will make baby raptor jesus cry.

The basic haste forumal is as follows:

New Casting Time = (Base Casting Time)/(1 + (% Spell Haste / 100))

At level 80, we need 32.79 points of haste per 1%. A few points to keep in mind are as follows:

Moonkin have 6% haste from talents which: 32.79x6%=196.74

The Haste Cap/Global Cooldown Cap = 1639.5 (for 50%) based off Wow Wiki
----
So, lets just say Uldar gear gives us around 700 haste. If we decide to say that bloodlust can be converted into haste, then it would become 987.3 haste rating.

So we'd take that and end up with this:

700+ 983.7= 1683.7

Adding a bit more into it, we will add our hidden haste from talents which is 6%..Remember, it takes 32.79 for 1% of haste, so it comes out to 196.74. So even with bloodlust, haste, and your hidden haste; you will have 1880.44 which is 200+ haste over the cap. This will cause clipping issues. Starfire before a crit will be 1.5 seconds. Nature's grace doesn't add itself from what I know if you are already at the cap (due to clipping issues)

So, with our hidden haste, Normal Haste, Bloodlust, and speed potion you would have the following:

196.74+983.7+700+500= 2380.4

Now, that is IF Bloodlust acted like that type of mechanic, but it doesn't.

So lets go on to another part. If your desired casting time is 1.5 seconds (starfire) then:

"desired casting time" = 1.5 seconds, ((3/1.5)-1)*32.79*100

So, you'd need a 3279 haste rating to yank SF down to clip the GCD not 16**

Since the cap on 1 second is 16** from Wow Wiki..we must keep in mind that it would only lower Starfire to a 2 second cast (which we see when we just get bloodlust..and it gets lower with haste pot)

So, going off these stats, A haste pot is still good during a bloodlust. If you are curious...

So to get SF to have a cast of exactly 1 second, it would be 6558 haste, assuming WoWWiki's formula is correct.
------------

So thank you to all the moonkins at the Repository for sitting down and chatting with me about this math. As well as Badeggplant and Atavus.

Glyph of Focus (Patch 3.0.8)

Welcome to the buggy patch of 3.0.8! Starfail has been nerfed and everyone around the world is dropping it! New Moonfire animation! (PEWPEWZ LAZER BEAMS) and everything is buggy or just not working!

What a wonderful day of Warcraft! Wouldn't you agree? Anyway, the patch has been out for a few days now. When the patch first came out, there was an issue with Wintersgrasp crashing the server. Each time the game was won, it sent out an infinite buff to everyone, causing the server to overload and crash (every server in the game mind you)..when the servers would come back up, the game was reset and people would try to take it again.

Honor farmers enjoyed this time while people in Northrend couldn't stop dcing from the for hours on end. It was terrible. Raiders were afraid to wipe and had soulstones and everything ready at hand for wipe recovery.

Malygos learned to fart so he was killing people behind him, let alone they added a larger range to his arcane breath..which apparently was chaining off hunter pets and ghouls, causing raid wipes. He also has targeting issues in phase 2 where you couldn't target him and he'd just melee you after a vortex. There is also no more stacking of sparks to dps him from 50%-0 with a bloodlust. Sparks now have a timer which is shared with their pools when they die and give us the buff.

Anyway, to the point at hand. With this patch came a new Glyph..Glyph of Focusing! This glyph increased your Starfail damage by 20% but decreased its range by 50%. This glyph however is a major glyph and not something worth picking up. Why do you say? With the 50% decrease, you only get 18 yards to use it with. Pretty much you will need to stand on the boss and pewpew. Which is a bad thing.

Closer to the boss means more agroo, let alone if that boss has a cleave, breath, tailwhip or anything like that, you'd be screwed. Anyway..for sheer curiousity we was quick to look into the numbers it would give.

Here are the numbers given by Wisprunner after I pointed the topic out. He did a 50% increase of damage and a 20% increase.

ok 20% increase.

600 average hit. 20% of that is 120, so 720 a hit for 15 hits is 10,800

1324 average crit. 20% of that is 265 (rounded up. 264.8 is the actual number), so 1589 per average crit for a total of 7945 with the 5 crits from my parse.

combine all that to get 18,745 so it's not even a 3 dps increase if I did that conversion right (which I don't think I did, I never remember that conversion, someone correct me if I'm wrong) over what my starfall did for me on the fight.

standing on the boss for 3 dps...umm...no thanks.

-----------------------------------------------

Here is the 50% increase numbers

Take the last time you used Starfail on a single target mob (patchwerk, Instructor etc.) from a wws report, and just take the average hit, take 50% of that, add it, and that's what the hit would have done. take the total number of hits you had on that mob, and do simple addition from there.

That's how much glyphed starfail would have done.

For instance, the last time I did patchwerk25 and had starfail the average hit of my starfail was ~600 (rounded up for ease of math) 50% of that is another 300. so 900 a hit. 900 a hit for 15 hits is 13,500.

average crit was 1324, 50% of that is 662, add that on and we get 1986, 1986 average crit at 5 crits total makes 9,930

Grand total 23,400 compared to the 15,541 that the parse had. That was on two uses as well since the kill was a laughable 3:27.

23,400 would still have been half of what IS (next lowest total damage ability) was. so starfall would have added roughly 30 dps to my total of 3857 (hooray 30% wrath crit) instead of the 23ish I got that night.

----------------------------------------------

Though from his personal point of few, his numbers still show what type of increase you would see. 3 or 7 dps..doesn't matter..for 1 talent point isn't going to make this talent, but break it really. You could put that talent point anywhere else you like. Even pick up IMP Moonfire..or something. Me..I dropped it. I won't lie. I picked up 2/2 Gale Winds and put 1 point in Owlkin frenzy since I really have nothing else to do with my points. I have no mana regen talents or anything and I'm never oom in fights.

If you have no issues with mana you can always make your tree to your liking..always remember that. The 55/0/16 spec is just a basic spec for raiding if you have mana issues. Anyway, enough rambling from me. I hope this post will help people still confused on the glyph if they wish to take it or not.

Ok, so now what?

For those who have been following, I have been on a mission to prove with IFF worked with FFF. Ghostcrawler probably has gotten tired of me, but I was on a mission and now, my mission is complete!

I went ahead and looked at this in game, and I am happy to report that I was wrong. Any Faerie Fire should allow you to get the 3% crit, even if you didn't cast it. So the tooltip should probably read: Your Faerie Fire and Feral Faerie Fire spells also increase the chance the target will be hit by spell attacks by 3%, and increase the critical strike chance of your damage spells by 3% on targets afflicted by [anyone's] Faerie Fire or Feral Faerie Fire. I don't always have the game right in front of me when I am reading forums (most often I am on a painfully topical beach sipping mai tais) so I try not to guess unless I am pretty sure about something. I was pretty sure about this, but I was wrong. It happens. There are like 15,000 spells in the game.

So, there you have it. At this moment all of our testing has come to a close on if it works or not. Ghostcrawler has now stated it works after his two other posts. As long as he says it, people will stop bugging me about it now.

Behind the Scene:

Yes, there was stuff going on during these tests. Our 'friendly' neighborhood Wisprunner didn't believe that IFF worked with FFF. He was a nay sayer to it all and even when I gave him tests it was still a yes or no to him, even with it pointing to yes. So, for several months we had gone back and forth on this, on and off, always trying to prove eachother wrong.

So for the record...

I WIN WISP

Ok, that felt better. For those who don't know us personally, we have no grudges with eachother, it was more or less a friendly challenge and I won. Yes, I will keep saying it Wisp because I know you read this blog! I win, I win, I win! :)

He already stated he owes me big for this, there are so many things he could do. But I rather not limit him. So if you are a reader and would love to suggest something, just leave a message in a comment. This way we can give him a list of what all he could do for the repay.

Back to the issue at hand however, now what? GC originally stated that the talent shouldn't work and if it does..its a bug. However, people think otherwise. With it working and now proven by a blue ( which everyone and their mother wanted to see ) will it get fixed? Why should it? Its only 3% and its not like we're topping the damage charts as number one over pure dps classes are we? What are your thoughts? Don't be afraid to leave them in a comment..I'd love to answer them as they come!

Well, thats it for now, but I would love to mention I made Graylo's blog...GO ME! :D

So what really happened?

There are always 3 sides to the story. The first person who tries to make a point, the second who tries and withstand it, and the third...The Truth. I don't think this post will hold any truth since there really is no third person on it all. So its going to go by my standpoint. Take it as you will. Not saying its completely wrong or right.

Everyone has those moments in the game where they lose interest in the game. Be it PVP, or PVE..or people just getting bored with the game itself. With the game being rushed out to meet the needs of the consumer, many high end raiding guilds have found themselves waiting around for the Uldar patch so they can test themselves once again.

Other guilds slowly die away. Those who weren't strong enough at the start of Wrath really begin to feel the weight bare down on them like a ton of bricks on some guy's head. Either way, it decided to happen to the guild I was in.

After being recruited as a Resto Shaman then asked to change to my moonkin after they kicked their current moonkin out..I got into Theorycrafting. I will always thank the GM for that. however, as time went, they found out I was an open person. I didn't like to sit idly by on alot of issues. I liked to be heard. I'm sure a alot of people do in this instance. However, I apparently was never told anything real serious on the matter. Just a few "Shut ups" which happened even if I didn't talk. It was more if I said a peep in vent or guild chat.

Our Officers weren't really there for anyone. If any, one was. He took over when our GM decided to take a vacation from the game. He handled anything and everything while the others sat around and did nothing. One even added to the issues but was never confronted about it. In the end, while the GM was on vacation, people began to fight. Why wouldn't they? It looked like their GM, their fearless leader who had had them transfer to another server with their own money just to stay in the guild had left them.

So, people got angry, words were said, people were on edge. Its human nature and yeah, it sucks sometimes. Either way, all that was said and done, the GM decided to reform the guild to his perfect standard. He kicked pretty much anyone and everyone who wasn't there for the SSC/TK days of the guild.

While some people got an explaination, others didn't. Some were kicked when they weren't even online. while he may do things his own way, I would have atleast sent them a letter, or demoted them until they were online so I could explain the reason for kicking. But of course, this always ends in drama.

While people know I'm open minded and will speak my mind (which is apparently why I was removed) I have received nothing but great comments from people within the guild and outside the guild, as well as my faction on how awesome a person I am and how I shouldn't let this put me down. Only people who are really trying to put me down are the GM and an Officer or two. However, I don't really mind. I told them how I felt, thanked them for letting me join as well as showing me theorycrafting and I'm on my way looking for a new home.

I wish them luck either way. So what if my personality and the GM's didn't work out well. Everyone has their own opinions, and we all pay our 15 a month to play this game. I just refused to sit there, idly on my hands watching as things happened. And for those wondering, other people got kicked for opening their mouths as well when things where wrong.

I really however look up to the top Horde guild on my server. After speaking with their Moonkin several times, its nice to see a guild that allows members to speak up, even if in an asshatious way that will allow people to see if they are doing wrong or right.

Well, thats it for now. See you guys when we finally get an Update from Ghostcrawler!

Improved FF or Misery? Why not both?!

I decided to finally start up a blog. While I may suck at numbers, I know how to read them. Sure it takes me awhile. Sitting there, scratching my head in confusion, but it gets done. I work with Graylo, Wisp, and others when it comes to the Moonkin class.

I love the Class and enjoy the aspects of it. Since this is my first post in regards to this, I figured I would go ahead and tell you about myself. My character is Foofy, once named Grandstorm for 3 years, I decided it was time for a change (Some naked art pictures where coming up with that name...oi) I'm an 80 Tauren druid who has been playing the game since March 05. I've been mainly resto or Balance my whole game life while rerolling a paladin for a few months before deciding it wasn't something I liked. Pre Bc, I was a resto druid like pretty much everyone else. I saw from MC in to Naxx. I leveled as resto and remember having to spec into Innervate just to be able to raid.

I actually meet my Husband/Soon to be in World of Warcraft while I was gone for Basic/AIT. We leveled together (I healed..he poked stuff) our way to 70. During BC I rerolled for a paladin to try something new. I didn't like it but was stuck with it until I could convince my guildmaster to let me try out moonkin on my druid. It was there I became hooked. While I didn't know much about moonkin, I knew about the hitcap and everything like that. Just not rotations. I was horrible. Then again, I was made to cast IMP FF and IS for the raid..so my dps didn't go much over 1300.

It was then when I started moonkin theorycrafting. I found The Moonkin Repository and began my mass learning experience. Anyway, enough about me..its time for the topic at hand! I don't troll the Wow Druid forums much, but I do love to go there and mess with people. Upon stumbling onto a "Rate the Owlkin Above you" I was rated by another Moonkin who told me to spec out of IMP FF since I probably have a shadowpriest to cover it for me.

Now, I got to play in beta so I got to test stuff along with everyone else. I knew math was already done in this so I decided to post towards him. Of course he wanted a bit more. I couldn't find the exact numbers, but I did find him the main topics of dicussion with others stating what I stated already.

There are many more out there. So if you are curious, you can look into it. You just have to go to Google or any Search Engine of your choice and type "FFF over IMP" or any variation of it. Anyway, I thank you for reading and hope to see you again!
