This entire Xpac, if I needed Restoration information, I had to jump between several sites. Normally trying to piece everything together. There are sites out there like TMR (the Moonkin Repository) and IncBear (Feral Druid Site) that allow people to find the information in one place.

I decided to step up and make a Restoration web forum. I'm looking towards everyone to chip in and take part in the forum. I even contacted a few of the non resto druids who I know are always happy to hit the chatterbox.

4.3 Resto Set

As usual, I always try and make myself a set to start out with. Something to shoot for. With every patch, I always try and see if I will be going for all 5 pieces or 4 with 1 off. After looking over several pieces of gear, I think I will make the pants my offpiece.

The reason for this is the stats. We will always want Haste, even with the change to Wild Growth. Its still going to be > than Mastery. Mastery is still a close second with then crit and spirit behind it. So following this rule, I created a starter gearset to shoot for. All the items are from normal Dragonsoul. As I have more time to play with it, I will move it around to suite my needs. Anyone is welcomed to mess around with it as well and make it more towards their personalized viewing.

MOP Beta

The forums are buzzing about the new druid ability called Symbiosis.

"Creates a symbiotic link which grants the Druid one ability belonging to the target's class, varying by the Druid's specialization."

Now, no one knows how this will really work. Come MOP Beta, I suppose I will actually play and find out. I've been in every beta but I never really played it. Just logged on, played with the talents and then never logged on again. My husband normally ends up stealing it, leveling my toons and then creating alts to mess around. Hes all in to Server First leveling. Me, not so much. After getting it for all 3 expansions (BC didn't have achievements, but we were server firsts) I think I'm getting too old to sit up 2-3 days straight for a game.

Anyway! Back to the point. I will actually be leveling up to get this talent. I am going to make a list of each time I link with a class, what I gain as well as what they gain. I'm going to try for a target objective of 100 per class.If not, I'll have to go for 25. Hopefully this will help us figure out if there is a set ability you get, or if it is random, and if it is random; if there is a certain % chance for an ability or not. I will also be sharing my information with Lissanna who..I know a secret about! :3

Yeah, thats right. I know a secret and you guys can't know until someone in Blue Speaks up :D

Resto Druids in trouble for 4.3?

We all know Wild Growth is getting nerfed. They are hitting our glyph and our spell. At first I was outraged. We're getting nothing in terms of compensation for this. No tank cooldown, no new fancy spell. Nada.

Blizzard just thought we were completely Overpowered and just needed to be slammed with the bat. Now, we all agree Wild Growth was OP. We know it. But its what we had. Its all we have. Healing per second.

We have no tank cooldown to toss around and make ourselves more of a use. We throw hots, Battle ress the baddie who stood in fire and clap hands. This is our job.

I played on the PTR for a bit. I still log on to do PTR raids with my guild, but lately I've been logging them to see how its all going. 5mans and 10mans felt a bit chunky but fine. Then we got to 25man and I died inside. The scale quickly shifted from being even with Paladins and Priests to being completely demolished by them. Apparently I'm not the only one to see this though.

So, at first I thought I was going crazy. Maybe it was just me? Maybe there is going on with something in the log. I had several people link recount (which its ptr, numbers are always different due to the alpha version they are using) but it said the same thing. Paladin, Priest, Paladin, then a couple thousand HPS lower, Druid's. The sad thing is, my hots had no chance to tick through half the healing being dealt by the other healers.

I feel as if we just lost our ability to do what we need to. With the double nerfbat from Blizzard, the hit to WG has hurt us, not to mention they buffed the other classes leaving us in the dust. I went to the forums for some reading. Maybe someone on the PTR has spoken out since my PTR Resto Druid Discussion thread? Well, no one has. I did however check the healing forums and found that Blood Legion has noticed this. So thank god I'm not going crazy. Holy Radiance is really that well buffed. Now I look at Wild Growth with a sad face everytime I log on PTR when the GM says its time to boss test.

Druid HPS is either being matched or beaten by priests/paladins (and in the case of Ultraxion shaman are outhealing us). In the instances where priests (both disc and holy) are matching or beating us in HPS there is zero benefit to taking a resto druid when the priest brings both utility and tank/raid cooldowns.

Druids need SOMETHING. We either need to somewhat revert the nerf to WG (either the glyph or the HPS itself) or give us something so we remain competative. In the current form we won't be bringing any druids to the vast majority of fights (save ooze boss, which I will prob be on the druid due to lol lb clearcast regrowth tree form during mana phases), and we would be bringing ~3 priests to each fight.

Appreciate the hard work with the fights, they are seriously pretty great -- but healer balancing needs help.

Shaman outpace druids on this fight with green buff (both have green, shaman basically just keeps Healing Rain down), and my alt priest is doing significantly larger amounts of healing (2x+++ healing) on this fight in particular.

I am going to have to say, I agree. I've noticed it. Now I hope other people are noticing this too and will speak up for the Devs can see. Maybe if Blizzard would revert half the nerf it wouldn't be so bad. However, I feel the extra buff to the other healing classes are what are now pushing us down. So maybe scrap the nerf all together? I dunno, hard to say as I haven't done any real math on this and what I am saying is all in my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

However, I would love to see more logs of other Resto Druids in a 25man setting on the PTR. So if you have logs on the PTR of 25man Boss fights, send them my way please :D

Why can't Pandas be Druids?! RAGEFACE

I was hearing this a lot during Blizzcon. Why can't Pandas be Druids? Now, I've thought about it, especially when he said "It would be silly to have bears turning in to bears." (What about Wolves in to cats?) I was pretty disappointed that Pandas could not be Druids, but in the end, it does make sense. Worgen have a bit of lore behind them with the Scythe of Elune while Pandas....Well..They are drunks. Potbellied drunks with dungeons dealing with beer!

It does suck that another race can't be Druids. Right now we are limited to two races per side. Its better than the one we had before Cataclysm came out. Some people do however love Druids but want more choice. Right now however, I don't see any real lore that would allow another race to be Druids. However, there are some things you can twist around to allow it.

HORDE

Orcs: Orcs have the ability to be shamans. They are in tune with the elementals and a bit of nature. However, I don't see them being big Tree huggers. They could probably have their lore twisted a bit to become druids, but I see them as to much as a brute force for it to really work.

Goblins: Just no.

Blood Elves: People are continuing to ask for Blood Elf Druids. In some sense I can see it, in others; they are to bent on magic to really look to nature for a home. This could be one of the ones that have their lore completely hellbent to become a reality though.

Undead: Unless they somehow count growing mushrooms on your rotting body....No.

ALLIANCE

Humans: While Worgen are technically Humans, I don't see Humans with their normal greed and un-trusting nature of things they don't understand; being able to commune with nature.

Gnomes: It would always be funny to see this. Gnomes in some sense may be able to use their intellect to figure out how to work with nature, but I don't see them doing it.

Draenei: This is one of the races I can see becoming a Druid. When you start off with them, you end up meeting a Night Elf and and work trying to save her and get her back to her people. They are very close to nature but more so followers of light. Their lore can be twisted around every which way possible to allow them to be Druids. However, a bear with tentacles on its face is a very scary thing to think about.

Dwarves: They can be Shamans, but it would take a lot of twisting for them to even be close to becoming Druids. After being a Tauren for about 6 years, I already have it implanted in my mind they are out to destroy the land with their constant digging and looking for riches. In AV they want to dig up the resources but the Orc Clan there is just trying to protect their home. So yeah..don't see this every happening.

In short, only races that even come remotely close are Blood Elves and Draenei, should they wish to allow another race to be Druids. I however am happy with two races being Druids and would rather see a new race an Expac or Two slipping in to the Druid way.

Anyway, I put a poll up. If you could choose a race to be Druids, which would it be?

Well, I'm back home now. Had a great time at Blizzcon! I got to hang out with Lissanna and meet Hamlet and friends. Though my knee gave out on me on Saturday and I had to miss the Foo Fighters Concert, I still loved every minute of my time there. I also saw Ghostcrawler at the after party "Occupy the Hilton Main Lobby" movement (apparently the Hilton said NO to having a party there so Blizzcon goers decided to make their own..The Hilton finally gave in of course)..

I left him alone though. I felt bad for him. All those tall kids following him around and talking to him while he was just trying to get a beer. Poor guy.

So, I was messing around on the PTR like I normally do when I'm bored. Sit outside the Transmog area and see what creativity people have. Head outside Stormwind and watch the duels. Go check up on the Under Attack Spam of Goldshire every now and then. You know, just something to do.

However, while I was standing on top of the Goldshire inn, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. A Moonkin and Holy Paladin were dueling. Sure, its something real boring to watch but that isn't what caught my eye. The Moonkin was dropping Wild Mushrooms. They looked different. They had a red glow around them while they pulsed away before being exploded.

I was curious as to what it was. I had them targeted but silly me never screenshotted them. I should have though. I wanted to try and re-enact those shrooms of his. I figured at the top of my head it was a new graphic maybe to show they were empowered (solar). However, that wasn't it. So I tried every possible thing I could think of. putting the shrooms down then going solar. Being in Lunar and dropping them, dropping them with lunar shower up. So I don't know. Maybe I am going crazy now a days with boredom. So yeah. If you have seen these, make me feel better by saying so. I don't want to feel like a luney all day.

As for random things from the PTR. Wild Mushrooms are big. I suppose its another thing of boredom. Just looking for stuff to get in to or just a little closer at things you see on a daily basis. I blame the fact I always drop my mushrooms when I am made to go Moonkin far away from myself. So they always look tiny. But hey, at least I seem to be rediscovering the game.

Another thing! Blizzcon Planning!

Lissanna contacted me earlier today to try and set up our Blizzon Meet times. I felt really bad because of how many people from my guild are going and want to hang out with me and Azamath. Then we have Rawrcast who want to hang out as well. I have some people from The Moonkin Repository and man, I didn't know I was so wanted! That or they just want to walk up and slap me in the face. I'm good for either. So for those who are going and wish to meet me, the best times to come look for me would be after Blizzcon or during it.

Me and Azamath are going a Day early and leaving a day late. We will be arriving in California and having dinner with our GM on Wed Night (19th). Thursday of course will be Line-con. Probably be hanging out with guildmates and Rawrcast there and for that night. Friday will be when I'll hopefully get to hang with TMR and Lissanna. Saturday Night will be a guildies night of farewells and whatnot. Sunday me and Aza will probably be hanging out with our GM again since hes from that area. Getting our pictures developed because we don't want to bring the digital camera for a cross country trip.

Monday will be our final day there. We'll have lunch before heading to the Airport to deal with the long trip home. So if anyone is staying late like we are, I'm happy to hang out! I'm just happy to go this year. I'm a Blizzcon Virgin and its nice to celebrate the game that brought me and Azamath together.

However, playing around in Wow Head with random items that aren't apart of any set that I have just sitting in my bags. I apparently was very bored for the past 3 days and went back and did several BC heroics and Wrath heroics to cure it. This is the new set I came up with. I like it since it fits more in to a Druid then my wannabe Rogue and Demonhunter set. PLUS! I already have all the parts (Fuck you Illidan you no helm dropping bastard)

What Set are you making?

After playing with Transmogging on the PTR, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to look badass. Also that everyone seems to be using t6 or Sunwell gear for their mogging. Now on the PTR right now, there are no rules besides the leather for leather or cloth for cloth.

You can use the Invisible Chest as well as apparently fish. I rather not see anyone running around trying to dps a boss with a fish, however the Invisible Chest is just amazing! It literally is invisible and allows you to see your shirt underneath or just nothing. Great for male toons, but only good for females if that want that bikini look.

Because of this, I wanted to make a third set for Transmogging incase they allow the chest to be used. Here is what I came up with.

I have everything I need for this except my helm. Which doesn't want to drop (5 weeks now). I should have it all ready before then. However, if they do not allow us to use the chest, then thats ok. I have full T2, T6, T4, and Rogue look-a-like T6 for me to wear :3

Being a Resto Druid you bring certain things to a raid.

Mark of the Wild
Innervate (lol?)
Awesome Raid Healing
Rebirth

Now, lets not only Nerf our Wild Growth by 20%, but the glyph as well!

If we don't take the glyph in 4.3:

Current healing: 6X per 8 seconds (no reason not to take the glyph right now)
After the patch: 5(0.8X) = 4X per 8 seconds
4X/8s is 66% of 6X/8s

a 33% nerf

If we do take the glyph in 4.3:

Current healing: 6X/8s = 0.75X/s
After the Patch: 6(0.8X)/10s = 0.48X/s

0.48X/s is 64% of 0.75X/s

a 36% nerf

To put this in perspective, if 40% of our healing on a raid damage heavy fight is Wild Growth
this is almost a 15% nerf to our overall healing.

Now, thats 15% overall healing. Thats pretty much a good chunk of our healing output. After all, thats all we really got when it comes to raiding. Why do I say that?

If you were to quit the game today...

Q:If you were to quit the game today, what would you like to see done? What do you think you have accomplished in your entire time? Do you think you would go in out in a bang? How about if people would remember you?

Several theorycrafters who have left the game got something placed in the game to remember them by. Items, npcs, etc. If I were to quit the game, I wouldn't want an item to be named after me. I want an NPC! I would want an NPC who looks exactly like my toon, the day I quit. I want her to be RP walking around either Orgrimmar or Stormwind..depending on where I end up before I leave.

I would give her only the ability to walk around. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a random NPC who will appear maybe 2 times a week like a rare spawn and sell something fun. A rare pet maybe..a little bear look a-like druid or maybe a kitty. That would be pretty cool.

Overall however, I think just counting up the time I've played; I've accomplished alot. I've seen endgame content and seen stuff die. I've been killed in PVP and have killed people in PVP. I've enjoyed the game. Now the question becomes...would I go out with a bang? Probably not. I more than likely would just go "Hey I'm done"..Post on the druid forums saying bye to people.

Same with TMR and BearINC and just disappear. I wouldn't do anything to get my account banned. I wouldn't sell it. Nadda. Just kinda ride off in to the sunset. As for being remembered, I don't think anyone would remember me. I'm not E-famous like other people. So I think slipping away would be easy.

And thats how I would hope to go out :3

The Spread of Stupid on the forums is getting out of control

I read the forums every now and then. I don't post much because there just isn't much to answer too. I will always post on TMR more than anywhere else because the small limit if "Stupid" on the forums.

The World of Warcraft forums are mostly trolls or people who just spread information that isn't correct. I try to keep an eye on the druid forums every so often to make sure I didn't miss anything important. However, several weeks ago, someone posted asking if they should pick up an item or not. I personally looked at their armory (Yes they could use work on the toon, but I wasn't going to be mean) and stated that they should pick the item up. It was definitely better than anything they had.

They asked if it was BIS. Unless they were unable to go back and do Sinestra..then yes..it was. Of course people were quick to respond saying it wasn't and Shard of Woe was. Then some random guy comes out and makes me facepalm.

"Also, foofy, just so you know, furor is way, way, way, better than moonglow in your gear."

Now, I don't know where this rumor started, but I would love to stop it. Especially since the basic rule is if the fight is under 3 minutes, Furor >Moonglow. But what fight in Firelands is 3 minutes or less right now? Heroic Baleroc is about 5 minutes or more and thats one of the faster fights. Also Moonglow works the more you cast, so you are still saving more.

For those who may not know, this is how it works (All from Cannotbetamed.com..I love this site <3)

Things we learn from this:

Furor gets better with larger mana pools.
Moonglow gets better with the amount of spells you cast. It gets better in relation to Furor as the fights get longer.
At current mana levels Moonglow will provide more of a benefit than Furor on any fight longer than 3 minutes.
Furor will not become competitive with Moonglow until our mana pools start hitting 150,ooo (at least) and even then, only on the shorter fights.

I love the fact that she made it so easy for people. I just wish more people would read it. I also want to have babies with Jasyla...Just sayin

And no, I'm not trying to pick on the guy who said this. I'm just fed up with the fact that so much wrong information goes across the WoW forums and the people who know better don't say anything. By not saying anything, the information is then picked up by people just reading the forums for information. Thus not seeing the person corrected.."Oh that must be right!" Then it starts the chain. :(

So help the WoW forums..

Stop the Spread of Stupid!

So, I've been thinking. Alot...

About what? The game of course.

I have been playing this game since March 2005. Pretty much the entire time I have been my druid. Even when I wasn't for about 6 months (on my paladin helping the guild)..I still did Alt raids with her and kept her up to date on everything.

I've been Restoration and Moonkin. I'm not much in to Melee, but last time I really tried it was back in Vanilla with my rogue. I recently leveled an Enhancement shaman 1-85 with 3 days and 7 hours of play time. I actually really enjoyed it. Not saying I will go to the Shaman or not. But Melee isn't as bad as I thought it to be.

So now it becomes..what have I done in the game? Most people change classes every Xpac to see all they can of the game. With me being the same character..I've gotten so many nerd points, rare mounts and pets that I don't want to step back and try to get them all again. Especially since some I just can't get anymore (Black and Plagued Proto Drake, Original ZA Bear).

So unless they end up creating these to be available on all characters, I feel I will have an automatic attachment to my druid no matter what I try. So, I'm starting to wonder. Right now, I'm moonkin more than I am resto for my guild. Dpsing in full resto gear with a resto meta is fun and all, especially when I'm pulling some nice numbers doing it (Totally using spirit to be hitcapped..LOL).

So, what haven't I done? Tanking/Melee Dps of course! Well, I mean on this toon. I loved Tanking on my Death Knight and Paladin for Alt runs and I enjoy being in control. The leader so to speak. I did tank on Foofy several times in Wrath to help out alt runs as well. I loved it. But when it came to Cataclysm, we didn't need another bear druid. We needed a healer. So..I went resto.

I have already been told I'm a great healer. I was even in a top 30 US guild (They had no room for my husband and Husband > WoW). So its not like I'm terrible at it, though I feel like I am so much. Moonkin itself just doesn't appeal to me. I think I just hate the slider bar so much my brain kicks into Starfire Spam mode like back in Wrath when you could pick one eclipse and stick with it.

So, I have been really thinking about it. I think its time I finally push forward something new and exciting for me. I think its time I start working on Feral Tank gear. Sure..I won't probably be able to tank this Xpac. But hell, I'll sure work for it next xpac. I mean..apparently its not as far away as I thought it would be.

So, should I try out Feral tanking for next Xpac/BH runs (current) or should I just look into praying Pandas come to life and reroll a brewmaster? (lol)

I'm sure by now, several people are getting tired of doing dailies. Most people by now are exalted or pretty close. Myself? I didn't do extra trash runs. I never had the time. So I'm sitting nice and pretty in Reveered. Needless to say...Random spawns needed for your Title achievement is getting slightly annoying.

Since the first time I opened up the Druid of Talons and rode my lovely Fire Hawk for the bombing quest, I've needed only one Fire elemental guy. After several weeks of not getting him, I decided to cheat. Thats right, I got tired of doing dailies but I wanted my title.

People have said that you can get the bombing quest two days in a row. That has NEVER happened for me. You get an egg or hatchlings one day, then ride the next. Rinse and Repeat. Because of this, you always had a day of missing the guy you needed to hit. I finally said Screw it and broke down what quests I needed each day to open what I needed.

Upon zoning in, you need to only pick up 3 quests.

Rayne gives you 1 of 2 quests available. Wisp Away (close portals) or Aggressive Growth. Both are very easy. She however is needed to push the quests forward. If you skip her, you won't be able to open up the Talons or Wardens.

Captain Irontree is needed as well. He gives Burn Victims. This quest is very easy but annoying during busy days at the Molten Front. Even though the people are just laying everywhere, half the time someone is off in the distance(max) using the item on them. So by the time yours goes off, they are already up and thanking someone else.

And of course, General Taldris Moonfall. She gives you the quests you need for either Talon of Warden after you complete the first two. They are normally random but you will always receive a quest to kill elementals. The second quest is the random part which consists of Molten Giants, Dogs, Lava Worms, and Druids of the Talon returning for a mass slaughter.

Upon finishing your quests, she will open up a second pair. It will be either into the Fire or The spire. Once you did the Spire once, you will more than likely be still doing in to the Fire. Fire has the random parts two it while Spire you can just go hit spiders without even taking the quest.

Upon helping your good buddy through the fire (or you can be lazy like me..run through the fire and kill the guy before he even gets there), you get pulled into the cave below. This is where you need to pick up a quest to continue on. Remember, with this, I'm doing the least amount of quests I can just to open up the fire bird as well as the Lieutenant.

So, upon entering the cave below, you need to go say Hi to Thisalee Crow. She will offer you two quests. You need to do them both. However, you don't need to talk to her and can leave the cave if you are doing this a second day in a row. Further information on why will be at the end.

Anyway, just pick up "Fire flowers" and go picking, and of course kill as you go..Turn in your quest and head up top as soon as you can...Turn in with the Female Tauren and the last two should open up.

Now, you are at the part where you can save yourself some trouble. If this is your first time doing the fast run of dailies with the Molten Front, you can pat yourself on the back. You are able to pick up the Flying Bombing quest and keep it. That means if your guy did not spawn that day..Then you can just leave the zone and hold onto it for the next day.

You will need to do the quests I stated already to get there. However, if all you need is the bombing quest, you have no need to get the Flowers for the Tauren. That is only if you need the Lieutenant. They are random too, so more than likely you still do. So. Below is the list of quests you will need to do just to get your save point.

First time (Saving your Fire Hawk Bombing Daily)
1) Aggressive Growth/Wisp Away
2) Burn Victims
3) Traitors Return /The Harder they Fall/ Breech in defenses/etc
4) Hostile Elements
5) In to the Fire
6) Fire Flowers
7) Kill the Flame Walkers
8) Hatchlings/Egg ---If you do not have it on the day you do it
9) Kill Fire Hawks

Second Time (If you got the Fire Hawk in the same day as the first run)
1) Aggressive Growth/Wisp Away
2) Burn Victims
3) Traitors Return /The Harder they Fall/ Breech in defenses/etc
4) Hostile Elements
5) In to the Fire

Now, this is the only annoying part. I tried it once and found that it didn't like me. You will need to complete the Fire Hawk daily to do pick up your Lieutenant quest. So, everyday I zone in to the Molten Front, I always run back and check to see which is up. This is how you can decide if you want to take the chance to drop the quest or not.

Holding on to the Bombing Quest allows you to do it everyday. You no longer have the chance of the mob you need spawning on a day you can't even do the quest. I'm sure other people have already thought of doing this or already have. but at the same time..I just wanted to let people know the quests you needed to do just to unlock it. This way if you are like me and getting tired of doing dailies everyday for a crappy bit of gold, then you can at least limit the amount of time you spend.

Anyway, happy hunting all! I already knocked out my last guy for my Bombing Run on the first day of doing this trick. Now my Lieutenants need to spawn =(

I'll probably be stabbed by the masses with bloody pitchforks, but I wanted to try something different with my reforging.

With the new Mastery, I feel harmony gives a slick kick when used correctly. I noticed a huge difference when I had 10 mastery vs the other Druid's 14 mastery. Looking at how her hots where hitting, it became a quest for me to see if; while slightly outgeared by her.. I could close the gap between our healing.

I went back to the books, reading a few sites and finding a few druids to chat with. So..after doing a bit of reading, chatting, and prodding of players, I decided -Cower- to drop alot of spirit in for Mastery.

This is an experiment I'm working on and so far, the results are very promising!

Q: But Foofy! What about your regen?
A: The more intellect you have, the less spirit you will want. It becomes a waste. Trying to worry about regen of a mana pool 130k or more is like asking the dentist not to pull your tooth when its already sticking out and hanging on your gumline.

So, I decided to play with this strat of reforging my spirit into Mastery. This took me from 10 mastery to 17.35. Now I was merely behind in spellpower and healing assignments to this druid. My gap has closed and I feel better.

Q: Aren't you always OOM Foofy?
A: No more than what I was with the spirit. I innervate myself early and often and it all works out.

I do NOT recommend doing what I am doing unless you feel you can handle the little regen. I have not done any math on this because..I'm bad at math.

As a side note, I'm going back to college! And yes, I have to take my maths all over again. THE ALPHABET DOES NOT BELONG WITH NUMBERS...that is all.

The min/maxer in me went Worgen. But the lol-lorest went "WTF ARE YOU THINKING WOMAN!?" So, I shelled out $25 to go Night Elf. I seem to spend alot of money on this game just to enjoy it. Sad thing is, I find amazing amusement of just RP Walking anywhere I go. Earlier today I started at the start of Hyjal near the world Tree and ended at the fallen bridge into Winterspring.

Also, I am apparently being hunted down with some jellyfish with vicious stingers, along with some Delicious sounding Trout (I'm hungry :< )

A few people didn't like me going Alliance. Its definitely something new. Its pretty "bright" over here. But the Hordie is still in me. I've had so many chances to just gank someone on my server for being Flagged and questing, but I won't do it. I just can't. I just wanna run up to them and hug them like "Don't disown me Brah!"

Continuing on, Me and my Husband Azamath are counting down. We're going to Blizz-con this year and its a welcomed trip. The nerd in me will tell you right now.. I see this as the honeymoon we never had. We meet on this game and if it wasn't for this game..may have never meet. (OH MY YOU ARE A NERD...LOLOLOL)

Anyway, trolling soon to come aside, I can't wait to meet up with several people. I found out Lissa is going this year along with several other people from my guild and throughout the Resto, Feral, and Moonkin community.

Lets just hope someone doesn't ask about Boobs on a Moonkin this year for the Q&A. If I get the guts, I'll probably ask a question however. If I don't fail and get to nervous, it will be something probably along the lines of our Tank Cooldown Blizzard said they wanted to give us over the Tranquility change we have now. Afterall, Blizzard is buffing raid healing for other healers. As more buffs come, I suspect a tank cooldown will come our way. I just really really hope its not Barkskin being able to be casted on the tank.

Shaking my Worgen Ass

I'm sure some of you noticed I have moved again. I went from Illidan to Baelgun. Illidan itself was a bit too crowded for my tastes. Unable to even read trade chat and dealing with the constant lag along with other things, me and my husband took a jump to the Alliance Side.

I have received whispers about why I left Rewaken as well. Short and simple. I wasn't having fun anymore. I will always keep an eye on the guild. They were my family for 2-3 years. There were fights in the guild like brothers and sisters would normally do. But in the end, it just seemed to be nothing but bitterness. Dealing with several people I disliked on a daily basis along with raiding 5 days a week was becoming taxing.

I wanted a change. I wanted to take a step back for a day or two. A more relaxing schedule. So I did. My husband wanted to step back from the 5 days of raiding as well. So he ended up following though I told him not too. Men never listen.

The good thing about this is, I am finally going back to College. With a more relaxed raid schedule; I can work on my studies without having to worry about raid in the back of my mind. I still love to raid. I've been doing it for years. Its has already been implanted in my mind as a daily activity.

So yeah. Shaking my Worgen Ass!

Though, I may go Night Elf. I haven't decided yet. Mainly due to the World PVP I love to do, and shadowmeld+flightform = much fun.

A)Your HOTs full duration will be applied with Harmony. If you overwrite the HOT with another HOT that is not buffed with Harmony, you will decrease healing done by your HOT.

I ended up joining a new guild, Excessive Gaming on Illidan. I still love Reawaken. Their atmosphere is nothing but amazing and I miss it already. I however just wasn't having fun much anymore. I know the grass isn't greener on the other side, but its the chance I have to keep my interest in the game. I still hop over there and talk to guildies and farm herbs for them. I will always love it there.

Anyway, one of the guild's old Restoration Druids was talking in the channel where me, Buttershkan, and Jdn were. Talking about this neat little thing he found.

This site is pretty helpful. Especially when comparing your dps to others as well as trying to see what you may be doing differently then someone else. Especially if you have a gap in hps/dps/tps and wish to change that. You can click Compare Bot and start on your way.

The site gives a nice breakdown of information! Its very easy to use so screenshots won't be needed here.

Resto Basics Completed

I didn't think people still looked at this blog that much. Since I barely post and when I post its normally about my guild. However, when I saw within the first two days 20 votes, I decided to go ahead and start the script. With 29 votes right now to this post; the video is done.

The video is current to 4.2 (PTR and soon to be release) but I will not be posting it until patch day. This should give some of you folks something to do while realms are done. In the video I explain the new Mastery and how we wish to work with it.

Resto Druid Basics 101?

A few people have been whispering me about this. It normally ends up them asking about Moonkin Raiding basics being continued. Then I normally respond with "Oh, I went resto this Xpac. "

It always ends "Resto is my offspec, will you do a video for that?"

Personally, I haven't decided if I will or not. I'm definitely not the best resto druid out there and thank god, not the worst! However, The question becomes, would I really do it? I've only received about a dozen whispers about this in the past 3 months. So it doesn't seem like there would be any interest if I made them or not. So, going on that, I figured I would make a poll and leave it up.

If you feel I should make a resto druids 101 basic video, vote yes. Then send this page to your friends and have them vote as well. If there is no real response in 2 weeks; then I will just tell people no and there is no real interest in it.

Going to Blizzcon

My husband sat up waiting, chain refreshing the page when they opened up the sale on blizzcon tickets.

Thank God he was able to grab a pair. This will be our First Blizzon. It means alot to me. While some people will be like "EW" "LOL NUBS" and whatnot with what I am about to say; oh well. Deal with it.

Me and my Husband meet through the game. Being able to go to Blizzcon means alot to both of us. The game brought us together and we want to go see the inside of the World of Warcraft World. That and my husband wants to sit at the PC hubs playing Diablo III. :/

But yeah, So we already got our plane tickets, blizzcon tickets, and hotel room which is less than a half mile from the Convention Center.

Can't wait!

Who's Excited for the patch notes of 4.2?!

Alot of uproar at the start, especially from the Moonkin community. I understand why though, but as I told Auryn (our guild Moonkin) it was going to happen. I think I told him maybe 4 or 5 months ago that sunfire spam was going to be nerfed.

He tried to refuse it, but I was a Moonkin for far too long. I knew it was going to happen and anyone who didn't see it coming was blind to it or refused to accept it. But, what does this mean? I mean, after all; Moonkin just got their starsurge nerf and what not. This apparently will push them lower in the meters to other classes if they can't multi dot for bosses.

Fear not! While I may be Resto, the old Moonkin in me is sure to stay, and shes speaking loud and proud! Moonkin will be getting something in return. Maybe a buff in damage, or something else. We won't be pushed down so far without something to lift us up. Blizzard will do something, even if it takes them to the very end of the patch notes to do it. (IE, until its close to ptr closing time and the community has spammed the forums enough)

Remember, the patch notes are still very new! Hell, they may even retract it if they can't come up with something to even Moonkin out. So calm yourselves, and stop molting all over my floor.

Who, what, where, why?

I like to look at the Recruitment forum to try and get people who would be good raiders to app. I use Wow Lemmings, LFguild, and more. However, I do have people who apparently stalk me. One of those has asked me about joining his guild for about 2 years now. He always brings in the progression to the loop, saying Reawaken isn't what it used to be, I could get free gear; etc.

He even says they would have a main spot for my Husband Azamath since hes been bugged by a few random whispers himself to join guilds. Of course, we both have. I maybe got 2 this month, which is new. In Wrath I got like 4+ A month when my guild was going through the Rut of Heroic Lich 25man bailers.

Anyway, I have thought about a few of the offers, but only when the guild itself was having trouble. You know the usual, people not logging on. Chain Dcing on pulls from the same people. Constant bad play on people who should know better and seem like they have just given up.

But I've stuck through it all. I joined Reawaken after being kicked from Novus Chalybs for apparently being to "Out Spoken" since I would tell the GM he was wrong, when he was. Or tell officers to treat people with respect. After all, there are people, real people behind that screen when you log in. So, in a time frame, I would say about Feb 2008 was when me and Aza app'd and got accepted.

We've been with them since. I love the atmosphere here. There is no nerd screaming when something goes wrong. Finger pointing as in "THAT FUCKER OVER THERE WIPED US" Its a really calm environment which I really don't ever want to give up. The GM Dentulmoka/Lokoshkan is definitely his own person. If he gets mad, he gets sarcastic. Which is pretty fucking funny at times. He still however gets his point across. While we raid 5 days a week and other guilds now adays raid less and get more done; I don't care. I'm happy with the progression. Its probably because we're laid back.

I also can't see not raiding 5 days. I've done it for 6 years now. It keeps me entertained. When we put ICC on farm and would raid 1 day a week, I got REALLY bored with the game. So, why am I posting all of this? Well, like I said; I apparently have stalkers who keep wanting me to come join their raids. Most want me as a Resto druid; a few want me as a Moonkin (Sorry, wont go moonkin again. I hate the new eclipse with a passion)

So..

If Reawaken were to Fall?

I don't think Reawaken is going anywhere for a long time. Only way I would see the Guild itself implode is if Dentulmoka decided to quit.

Why?

I personally wouldn't feel right raiding under anyone else. Like I said, Dentulmoka is his own personality you won't find anywhere else. I'm more than certain other raiders would do the same. We already had a recruit state this is the best raiding atmosphere he was ever been in. And its the same for me. However, if Dentulmoka ever decided to quit the game. I more than likely wouldn't stick around. The guild just wouldn't be the same without him. I probably will take some time off the game to decide if I want to keep playing or find a new guild. I know my Husband will probably continue to play. He however is very picky about where and how he would go to a new guild.

Say the guild does Implode? What next?

Its very unlikely as I said, but should something ever happen, I would definitely push going alliance. I've been horde since the start, unless you count about a month as a Night Elf Hunter named Gladis who didn't make it past level 40.

I would want to see some new Scenery, ya know? 6 years of Orgrimmar, 6 years of smelly undead clouding up the streets. Sure, gnomes aren't much better, but I would be in range to punt them anytime of the day instead of only being able to do it during BGs. I enjoy the lore on both sides, so this is why I would want to try something new. However, Azamath hates the Alliance. I wanted to see how bad.

When the new guild transfer feature was brought up, I was like "So, hun..What would you do if Dentulmoka decided to take the guild to the Alliance side? Would you follow?" He refused to give a straight answer. It was like trying to pull teeth. Hes been a Troll since the start and wants to remain that way. So I'm stuck in between and rock and a tree if something were to ever happen.

Fuck yeah I'm happy. I've enjoyed my time in Reawaken since the start. I even try to help out with recruiting to make sure we keep moving forward. If I didn't like it here, I would have jumped ship ages ago. The atmosphere, raiders, officers, the way loot is handled..everything. I love it all.

I'm not going anywhere for a long long time. They have to kick me to get rid of me. Seriously, no joke! I hope to continue my time in Reawaken and enjoy the friends I've made in there. We still have the same core (15 or so) people since I joined which makes me happy. Sure you got the kids that join and leave a few months later, but when a large amount of people stick around for years; then you know you got something great going on!

Gearing; alt'ing, and recruiting!

Figured I would give an update to everything that is going on. Right now, my guild is still working its way through the rest of the Heroic modes. Of course, several members are being asked by random level 1's if they are happy with their guild. Its mostly the same guild trying for our members. I stood there and watched as they sent my husband a tell. Was interesting...

But Reawaken is still going strong, even if we had a setback due to work for people in the guild. Its life. It happens. We are working on recruiting which should actually be filled by the start of the new raid week; because I am awesome and actually try and look for people.

I hate just responding with my guild recruitment spam. I like to try and contact them in game or send them an in game mail if need be; usually if they aren't on. Show I'm highly interested. Its worked out great so far. So we should be at 100% by Tuesday if all goes well :D

As for alts. I'm still leveling my hunter. I took a break from her. Still trying to level my Undead Priest and my Night Elf Druid at the same time. But my God, I still can't stand Northrend :(

Karma? Do you believe in it? I do. I believe it is real. Today made me just fulfill my belief anymore.

I work retail. Have been for almost a year. It was like any other day. We all know people shopshift. Some people do it because they want the item but don't want to pay/don't have the money. Others do it for the thrill. Some sick thrill but you know what I mean. Needless to say; this isn't the first time I've watched our Loss Prevention team catch someone. But it was the most entertaining.

Today, normal register day. Ringing people out. I suddenly see the Loss Prevention peeps run by me and towards the door, with my managers close behind. Next thing I see is this young girl, probably around 17 years old making a walk for the door. She beeps.

Just as she does, they cut her off. By law, they are not allowed to lay a finger on her unless she fights back. Apparently this lady knew this because she began to yell "YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME" (shes done this before apparently) and started pushing towards the door, eventually making it outside.

Once outside, they could only follow her to the car. During which the Boyfriend was waiting for her. She continued to say "YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME" the entire time. Well, my managers wrote down the License plate of the car and was quick to call it in.

It wasn't but a few minutes later we get a policeman walking in to grab one of our Loss Prevention to ID the lady. Here is what happened as soon as they left the store.

The boyfriend apparently was so full of adrenaline that he was speeding, which we have cops all over in the city and pulled him over for speeding. While the Officer was running the plates, our call came in. So he arrested the "woman". Not only that! He ended up arresting the boyfriend too. Why?

- Several unpaid traffic tickets (parking/speeding..you name it)
- And of Shoplifting since he aided in it.

Ontop of all of that, his car was apparently up for Repo for unpaid bills.

So, karma..

Its there.

Stealing is stupid. They stole a $200 item, have to pay the fee of shoplifting of $15,000; car repo'd, Jail time and whatnot.

Is it really worth it? Seriously.

My Reforging blows minds!

Literally, I love to confuse the hell out of people. But oh well!

I love to keep stuff even or work on one stat a bit more than another. Its from my moonkin days that I have this following. Now I'm not the best healer, nor do I strive to be. As long as my targets stay alive, I pat myself on the back. Unless they stand in fire during Heroic Magmaw. Then I just facepalm them.

Anyway, we get several stats to work with when reforging. I follow my own rule when I do it. Some people tell me "MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND WHEN YOU REFORGE".

Answer is: My mind is made up. I follow this solution below.

Haste>Mastery>Crit

Examples!

Example 1: Haste item (Leave Alone)
Example 2: Mastery Item -- Reforge with Haste
Example 3: Crit Item-- Reforge to Mastery

Some people are like "You only need 915 haste!" But you shouldn't limit yourself on that number alone. That number includes the Nature's Grace Proc (15% haste). If you get a Warlock's DI, thats even better. I get it sometimes, I don't know who gives it to me, but I love them for it. The main thing is, relying on a buff to reach the cap you need which needs to proc or cast a mana costing spell out of OOC is silly. Don't be afraid of haste guys. Just don't over stack it like a fucktard.

People have also asked about my specs. Which one I enjoy the most, why they are what they are..etc.

My first spec is 5/1/35. I use this for fights with heavy AE damage. . Some damage reduction for me and some power and a little bit of mana for my spells.

My second spec is my output spec. 8/0/33. I use this spec about everywhere. In heroics healing random kids who like to chain pull stuff, mass pull, no Crowd Control, be squishy as hell. You name it.In Raiding, I use this for fights like Heroic Magmaw since faster Nourishs are the bomb to heal up the group I'm assigned to. And just tossing someone a Rej actually helps them live.

Anyway, thats why I look so nubish (as people call me) but I don't mind. Making people have to ask me what I'm doing just brings a smile to my face =3

Anyway, some people have asked how I am liking Resto. Mainly those who enjoy still chating with me even when I'm not a moonkin anymore (except for the picture above..Gotta get my dailies done!). Asking how my mana was, why I change specs almost every day.

I like to experiment. The other resto in our guild does to. Right now, we share our Innervates and we both end fights around 10% or less mana. Which is the best you can do. You are sending out heals and you aren't oom within the middle of the fight and doing your job. So Overall, I'm happy with it.

I hope you all noticed the pretty kickass Idle Animation Treeform got. It also dances! Yeah...

Also, a little note to those who raid and dread logging on to wipe to a boss for 4 hours.

I have finally been convinced to go Troll for the racial Berserking they have. I have put it off for so long since I have been a female Tauren for what seems to be about 6 years now. When Trolls were introduced to be the new Druid Class, I knew pretty much everyone and their mother would go troll. Apparently a lot of people don't like to play cows. I wanted to remain one of the few Cows left. However, when I look at Top Parses of Resto Druids, all I see is Berserking being popped. That Extra haste does add up when placed in with hots.

When I look at the logs; you will find maybe 1-3 Tauren Druids. Everything else is all Trolls and Worgen. Maybe 1-3 Night Elves. The Trolls have higher output if you look at them, even if they don't have high HPS because they aren't spamming the entire time.

So, with working on hardmodes, I know the haste will help. I hate losing my tail but Haninozuka talked me in to going Troll. I will probably be Female Troll since my Husband still doesn't want me to be a Male Troll. I suppose atleast I can be that awesome YELLOW BEAR in the corner for all our screenshots now.

So in this last week of a Cow, I'm taking Screenshots to remember the good times. I thought of making a video with sappy music; but I thought that would be going overboard since I have so many damn random screenshots anyway.

So with that, Foofy/Breads the Tauren cow is now making TAUREN druids one less in the world; even more of an endangered species.

I'm a member AA (Altoholics Anonymous) of course saying so means I'm not Anonymous anymore =(

But, I decided to give another go at playing a Hunter since so much has changed in Cata with them. This would be..Um? Maybe my fifth hunter?

1) Original Toon, only made to level 40 before rerolling to Foofy
2) Alt Hunter Orc in BC, leveled to 70 and left to rot on a secondary account (<_<)
3) Leveled another Hunter to 70 on main account, got bored and deleted it
4) Pear (still alive amazing)
5) Grandestorm (still alive)

Ok, so she is my sixth hunter..My bad. I've tried hunters so many times. I always wanted a hunter I can just play in my off time. Each time I start one I grow insanely bored with it. The ones I got to 70 took me months of forcing myself to log on and do a quest or two for an hour. I would always end up logging off and onto Foofy to afk in the Major City or chat in trade chat. Thats how bad it was for me.

But yeah, I always wanted a hunter. A chance to tame some neat looking pets, not always be in a skirt. You know how it goes right?

Well, I think I found my love for them finally. I now introduce the name I was originally going to go with if I went with my Death Knight..

So I may have hit the liquor cabinet last night, but that doesn't excuse my beautiful peace of work! Don't hate that I'm an amazing artist and should be getting paid.

But enough of that! Time to get a real blog post up here!

Now, my guild has been working on the normal boss kills. We just recently killed Nef. Since Resto druids are amazing right now, I sat out for our Shadow priest to go Holy/Disc and the raid to have a constant incoming of bubbles and shields.

While I understand Resto druids feel like they are at the short end of the stick, I know it won't last long. Me, personally? I enjoy a challenge. PTR seems fun with having nourish cast faster when 3 rejs are out. Especially since now I can keep more than 1 out without OOMing myself.

As for moonkin, their compensation?

10man vs 25man- Debate

There has been a huge debate today on 25man vs 10man. What did Blizzard want us to really do? Does the progression from 10man carry on to a 25man? Does it effect overall Realm Progression?

Several people have posted on the Raiding and Dungeons forum disliking as well as liking the new changes. So lets go over what Blizzard has done to this Expansion.

25 and 10man now share the same lockout
Defending a final zone boss on either 10 or 25 unlocks Heroic Mode no Matter what
Gear is the same (25 drops more loot nothing more)
Blizzard stated they wished to make 10 and 25man the same difficulty (won't ever happen due to balance issues)

Now, here is my take on this. Blizzard made 10 and 25mans the same. So there is NO LONGER a 10man vs 25man guild. With how Paragon, Ensidia, and other guilds are going about for their world first kills is amazingly simple. They kill stuff on 10man, open up heroics and start there. They are still claiming victory for the kill. No matter if it is in 25man mode or 10man mode. Only difference is the size of the raid.

Is this what Blizzard wanted? Well, making everything shared such as Achievements, loot, lockouts..I would think so. Several others don't think Blizzard wanted it.

Now what brought up this discussion? Well..there is a guild on my server who has an EXTREME hatred for my own. Reason? Dunno. Might be from before I was there, but its a silly thing anyway. Needless to say; we was working on Al'akir. Tank DC'd, never came back. End of the week and the GM wanted to get a progression kill. We were down a few raiders as well due to the holidays so he made the decision to go in to 10man and knock it out.

So we did. I personally posted the boss was down. I made sure WowProgress and GuildOx updated as well. They both show that overall progression, we got credit for the kill. Now, if you click on the side bars where you want to separate 10 from 25 kills..then you can see the different. But overall, it still ranks us with the kill with normal progression. So, even the progression sites merge the 10 and 25man kills together.

Now the discussion going on with the Raiding and Dungeon forum is the same. I will agree with most people who post there. Points have been made on both sides. But I want to quote what one person said that I will continue to preach until Blizzard separates 10 and 25 again.

"The problem you are having and not understanding is simple. You are stuck in a 10 vs 25 man progression mind set. Blizzard consolidated 10/25 man achievments. There is no more 10 vs 25 man progression according to Blizzard.

They have NOT fostered any kind of behavior that they stated they wanted to eliminate. They have done exactly what they intended. 10/25 man share lockouts now. They are the same. It reduce the raid grind. It extends the life of their content and reduces burtnout. Switching back and forth from 10 to 25 man is an INTENDED option. Stuck on boss? Not enough people online? Switch to 10....etc...

If there are balance issues between the two, they will remedy as they see fit.

I agree with his statement here. Several people on stuck in the mindset that its 25 vs 10. Thats not the problem people seem to be having unless they begin to talk about difficulty. And my lord, yes..I know there are several bosses that are AMAZINGLY easier on 10man compared to 25, and vise versa. It will always be different mainly due to the ability of classes you can bring to raid.

This isn't a post in regards to how difficult one encounter is from another, its more on if the kill on 10man should be counted at all. By the standards posted about my guild getting Al'akir on 10 and not 25; any guild raiding as a 10man should not count as a progression guild. It should be its own separate entity. Yet, as stated before. Top guilds in the world are doing the same thing. Sure, some people will post "Just because they do it doesn't mean you should". But its not the point. Its the point that Blizzard put this design in. People are using it. Nothing more, nothing less. So why such hate?

So, I want to hear your opinions on this matter. Are you ok with the current ranking system? Do you feel it should stay the same? Be separated? And dear lord don't talk about difficulty. We all know that will end up.

The World of Warcraft has a very active Druid Forum. Of course most of it is the same thing, day in and day out right now. So I decided to make a little FAQ for the forum. Should you like it; you are more than welcomed to post the link to any post asking the same question that has an answer on this blog.

Druid Forum FAQ!

I saw Troll/Worgen Forms on MMO. When are they going in Game? I thought they were going to be released with Cataclysm.
You thought wrong. MMO posted DATAMINED models and thus were not officially placed in/officially announced. This means yes..Blizzard may have the model currently ingame. However! They may feel they are incomplete and will not release them until a later date. More likely a future patch.

Druid Healing right now is Terrible, Delete your Druid now!
If your raid isn't taking you as a Resto Druid, you might want to take a look at the Logs on World of Logs or any other parse website. Druids are still being able to heal, and very well. Its a different style, some people may not be used to it. Also be sure to check your spec. See if you are doing anything wrong. Always start with the player...not the game.

Moonkin Forms are ugly
So are you.

Are the Moonkin Forms placeholders?
Blizzard said they want to redo all the Forms. They however are taking their time doing it. They said Moonkin was one of them. Relax, take a breather. They will preview the new forms when they are ready.

Wild Mushroom is a Terrible Spell?
Blizzard said we apparently haven't found a use for it yet. If anything, place them right before an AE pull. Place them down if you know adds are going to spawn from that direction if you want to have an easy time picking them up without moving. In pvp, they take a moment to explode, so melee can run right through them sometimes without getting the slowing debuff. So you may need to take the chance to explode them early. Or you know..Just don't use them at all.

We know this. Regrowth is a huge mana hog with little output to follow it. Stop spamming it in Tree of Life. This is why half of you go oom! Anyway, if you get an Omen of Clarity proc, I suggest using it. Or if you are going to top off that ONE player real fast to save a life.

Shapeshifting and Mounting..WTF?!
Yes, currently if you are in Moonkin; you have to break form to mount up. We know this.

Flight Form and Archaeology
Flight Form doesn't work with Digging for Archaeology. Its a sad but known fact. Why? Well, hard to give a real explanation since there isn't any REAL one out there. It just doesn't.

Its the first season. People are still getting gear and everything is unbalanced right now. Especially rogues....Fucking rogues ><

Druids are Fine

Seriously, this attitude is getting old. So many people have been complaining about druid healing. Its mainly druids though. PVP, I can understand. Its really silly with our long cast times and hots taking us OOM very quickly. Raid wise however. We're fine.

Stop crying.

We really are fine. If anything, a few tweaks will knock us into place. Its not something people need to go around saying "Delete your druid Now, its still early" I mean seriously, why do something like that? This is why people continue to talk about FOTM classes. People who roll classes and play them while they are Overpowered in one field for a period of time, then switch when things don't go their way. Yes, we are no longer the Always 100% mana bar healers like we were in Wrath. We are not the Spam lifebloom on the raid and clap hands healer like we were in BC. We are the Direct Healing and Hot Healer like we was in Vanilla.

Vanilla had very few druids though, this might have been why. But you know what. I enjoy it and I love the challenge. The Challenge of ACTUALLY HAVING TO THINK in a raid setting. Figuring out which heals to send out that can be grouped up with another healer to save the raid from all the AE that does go around or save the idiot in the corner standing by himself.

I dunno, maybe I'm just stupid? Some people seem to think so and say Druids are broken. WowLogs seem to say otherwise.

A serious update

Lately I've just been posting silly screenshots of bosses we have killed. Just something to keep me busy, ya know? Anyway, I was reading Lissa's blog Restokin and she was talking about the gear bug with the badge chest. I personally hated that bug. It was very annoying; other druids on the server thought it was funny to run around with it.

So when I had a chance to get pants that I wanted to wear, it all worked out well (the badge pants fixes the bug). I have been working on my gear a lot lately. Been asking to heal several heroics by friends and guildies since now adays, I barely go oom unless people are stupid. Normally end up sitting at 25-40% mana depending on the boss.

So as everyone said, Heroics start out hard, but mainly because of the gear issue and they get better. I like how this works. Better than just hitting 80, and jump into heroics like you could with Wrath. Gives you time to learn your class for the current Xpac a bit easier. I don't mean you don't learn it when you level, but I mean more in a terms of not breaking sheep, little tricks you could have to save the group, etc.

I have also been farming like hell on my Shaman and Paladin. My Shaman is my Herbalist and Skinner. She is already level 82 just from gathering. My Paladin is about to hit 81 from Mining so much. The prices on the Auction House haven't really gone down. I personally hate start of Expansion's for the sheer reason people decide to make a quick Pixel'd Buck. So made sure to just level my Jc'ing and Enchanting to get the perks (Chimera's Eye Cuts and Enchant to rings). So now I'm taking my time leveling them up past that. Save some money. Also farming my own Fish saving money for food down the road.

Between farming for raid (we're 5/12 by the way! Highfive) I've been slowly pushing myself to level Archaeology. However, as a druid; its very annoying to see this message all the time. Its gotten to the point I have a cancel aura macro.

I got my first rare the other day from it. That silly Green beam that just shines down on you. If anything, I want the bug mount and the rings you can get. However, I got a long way to go since nothing of that race wants to spawn. My problem is I have been mainly working Kalimador. Which is pretty much all High Elf dig sites. So I will be heading to Eastern Kingdoms for my 225-300 phase in hopes of getting something other than High Elf crap.

So, thats it for the basic update. Besides the fact I'm going to redo the blog a bit (I like change ok? LEAVE ME BE) here is a picture of me looking awesome!

So, two bosses down on Sunday, Monday we spent all our raid day wiping to the Blind Dragon Atremedes. Its a fight that people really have to pay attention or die. The pay attention part is, don't stand in shit or you die.

Really, you will. Any damage you take generates sound. Get to 100 sound, you die. No ifs ands or buts about you. PEWPEWPEW you dead.

Anyway, we went in after the Tuesday reset. Killed Magmaw and the Council again, and now added our third kill of the Xpac.

Hes a fun fight, I believe everyone will love it!

So, first raid today. Amazingly fun. Here is my take on things so far.

Melee - Have it way to easy
Casters- Meh
Moonkin - Oom
Healers- Oom

My thoughts of Magmaw is this. Amazingly fun fight, simple fight, Challenging for healers. Mana at this point in the game will be an issue. Yes..there are QQ's all around saying to nerf stuff..its to hard. Or buff healers since Blizzard wanted us to stop and think about who we heal first.

I'm happy with how things are and would be disappointed to see them buff healers due to the QQ. So many things can help you out with healing if you look at other healer's abilities and stack them with your own. Anyway, now its time for us to play with the Council of BlackWing Descent.

Hello Cata!

And so, Cataclysm was released on Dec 7th, at 12:01 EST. However, after standing in line at Gamestop for 1-2 hours, I found out I was screwed. I had ordered two Collector's Editions. Preordered them, confirmed and paid.

However, when I get to the register, they have neither of them. Of course, I'm pissed. They had one to sell at the end, but ended up giving it to me. The other one got downgraded and I took it. This year I let my husband have the Collector's Edition since I got the Wrath one last year. All fine and dandy. He mainly wanted the pet, I wanted everything else.

I'm enjoy my new mousepad, artwork book, and some Loot cards we got in the box. One of the loot cards was a Landro's Giftbox, which my husband turned in and ended up getting a Spectral Tiger. I'm glad he got it since he had been bugging me for one since I got my own out of a booster pack.

My husband of course is a big Achievement Whore, so he wanted to get his Realm First Rogue. In the process, I ended up getting Realm First Druid, again. Yeah, 2 years now. Realm First Druid and him Realm First Rogue. If we had it in BC, it would be 3 times. We really need to stop being OP at leveling together.

Anyway, our guild took every server first Class but Shaman. That was just funny. Now we're farming heroics and trying to get some quick gear for raids. I can't wait to get into raiding! I'm loving the challenge healing is now. Making people pay attention or die. Its a great feeling. However, Nourish right now just seems so bad. Sure, its only like 1.6k mana to use. But its so weak. It just seems to be a spell you never want to touch (STILL). At this point, I'm just keeping lifebloom on the tank and using Healing Touch. Its more mana, but gets bigger heals off for spikes and refreshes Lifebloom. Been working well in Heroics so far and helping with Mana Conservation.

As for me, myself, and I. I'm so far almost done with my dungeon set. Still have a few pieces to replace, reps to find out and whatnot; but I'm loving Cataclysm so far and I hope you are all too :D

I do have a resto list of items I am going for. Its not set in stone; but a basic set I am aiming for. I wanted to try and make Int>Spirit>Haste Crit=Mastery. I wanted to keep it on this scale but try and even out Crit and Mastery.

My last raid of Wrath

Today was our last raid of Wrath of the Lich King. Pretty much everyone decided to half ass everything, sit back and relax and do things; we normally wouldn't do.

Half the time I was just Insect Swarming and Sunfiring the boss with a full Solar eclipse up while holding 16k (Seriously overpowered). I did this for several boss fights just as a joke. Its the first time I got to play in ICC like a random game, and not a serious "THIS BOSS MUST DIE"

So yeah, we wiped a few times. We took longer than normal. Had people who where rerolling in ICC 25man Heroic modes in greens and blues. But you know what? I had fun. Even after wiping on Heroic Lich King which seemed for hours; we still killed him and called it an Xpac.

We got our GM a bit pissed at us due to the fact we was all playing badly. Especially with Defile. God, I never want to see that mechanic again. The fact that one idiot can kill an entire raid gets old so fast. And the Rebirth system with cooldown..God. That was so damn annoying. I have a ress up, can't use it. So the other druid who has a ress up can.

What is up with that?

Either way, as everyone knows, I'm going resto in Cata. Our guild moonkin is Now . Hes a big min/maxer. So if you guys wanna bug him about anything. I'll be sure to point you his way. =D

So, I thought about the name I would be changing to. I was going to go back to my original name of Grandstorm, but I figured I wouldn't. I wanted something new, fresh, and more Tauren like. So I tested a few names out on WowArmory and I came up with one which is pretty good for me. Even if so many people have it.

So, Foofy will be disappearing soon, but I will be holding into the name for the Future incase I decide to pick it up again. So, if you can't find me on armory, don't worry about it. I'm not really a moonkin anymore as I am going Resto in Cata.

I've been watching the poll. To say its one sided is completely and udderly wrong. Its been a very tight vote since the start. Its been back and forth between Go Troll or Go Tauren since the start. Only thing that kept them even though was the last option of "Go Tauren with your new name". Now Go Tauren is in the lead even without those 2 votes.

With 8 minutes to go from this post, I still sit here and stare at my Beta Character who IS a Troll and then my Live character who is a Tauren. Sitting the windows side by side; its easy for me to make the choice on what I wish to be. Even though when I told a fellow guildmate about it, he called me bad for not min/maxing. We made a joke out of it in the end so it was never a personal attack.

But yes, I am staying Tauren in the Xpac. While the Troll Bat form would make me easily switch, everything else about trolls just doesn't seem to flow. I talked with some friends on my Real ID. Most of these friends are old guildmates from back in Vanilla WoW. People I first stepped foot into Molten Core with as well as raided 15man UBRS. These were the same people that ran me through instances when I was lower to help me level up and become a raider with them. Especially since there was only like 2 horde druids on the server at the time.

The discussion became a conversation, bringing about 5 people in to the mix. We talked about Cata, how things have changed over the years for us. But a major thing came up was my blog. Two of my old guildmates apparently watch my blog to see what I am doing. They explained to me however how they couldn't see me going Troll Female.

I couldn't understand why, so I asked them to explain how they couldn't. They quickly gave up all the reasons I original rolled a Female Tauren Druid.

1) I dislike Night Elves
2) I love cows (Huge cow collector..LEAVE ME ALONE)
3) The female Tauren Tail memorizes me and I had problems trying to level alts in Vanilla if it wasn't a Tauren
4) I enjoy being tall because I'm short IRL (srs)

The list continues on and on. I asked them what they would like me to do since I do get displeased with how Female Tauren look in some gear. How I don't play with game sound on because Female Tauren's laugh is pretty..Bad. As well as I feel there needs to be more to it.

But you know what? They kept pounding me about the issue. So I ended up making a list; Dislikes of Female Tauren VS Female Troll. Guess who won? Female Troll! Female Troll had about twice as much as Female Tauren with dislikes. Here is the chart I made during the conversation with them. And yes, alot of it is cosmetic, but I love the Lore from both standpoints..so yeah. Also, I did facepalm myself after I made this.

The main thing with Tauren is I won't be min/maxed. My guild is huge on it. But at the same time, I'm not min/maxed on my professions either. I'm an enchanter/Jc'er. I have several old world patterns I worked hard to get and I rather not lose them. If I drop anything; it would be Jc'ing for Eng. But it would be a waste as JCing/Eng are the best for Cata. So I'll just be sticking with what I got. Especially since the guild needs an Enchanter anyway.

So, I'm more than likely going to be myself and just staying Tauren. I like to be different. Its why I rolled a Tauren druid in the first place. I mean, in Vanilla. There was like 50 NE druids, 2 horde druids on my server. I was rare, and needed. Which I liked. Now adays, servers have millions of druids. So I'm not very original anymore. With Troll Druids coming. Most people will be going troll. Even some tanks. Min/Maxing pure tanks may stay Tauren though. Hard to say.

So now I'm like. "FUCK" cause I wanna stay Tauren but I still want troll for Min/Maxing.

Someone stab me in the eye please?

Its been Decided

The poll pushed me in the direction or whether to be a Male or Female Troll. Poll stated Female with a whooping 41 people behind it. My husband of course is happy. I still have a name for my Troll Druid on Reserve. I am officially going Resto in Catacylsm. I was even asked by our GM if I wanted to be a Raid Healer or Main Healer. I of course said Raid. More fun to watch all boxes then just 2-3.

Another thing that has been a topic of conversation is if Troll Druids will be allowed with 4.0.3a. On PTR, you have troll druids. No problems. I heard elsewhere as well as a blue post they "MAY NOT" be available. Of course it was not a "No, they won't" or "Yes they will" it was a MAY. So the blue poster did not know either. I also heard you could start a level 1 druid but not race change to one. Which personally makes no fucking sense.

If we are able to roll a level 1 Troll druid, then we are able to race change to one. Either way, on PTR right now; you can be a Troll Druid. We still show the Tauren flight form however. I would love to test out the bat animations. But whatever; I'm ok with just being able to race change and pop Berserking for faster cast times. Anyway; I have my toon planned out, more or less.

I'm thinking of going with the usual small tusks and a green skin. Of course I love the large female Mohawk. Though I may use one of the newer hairstyles. Which they only have 1 good one of. =(

Troll Flight Form and More

As many people know, I'm going Troll as soon as I can. There are however to options to this.

Male Troll
or
Female Troll

I am leaning towards Male troll due to how I enjoy their body flow all together. They don't look like sticks, have a great dance and I love their braids Haircut. With Female, I enjoy a few of their haircuts and I'll look cute (I think). The problem I am running into is two things.

1) I never played a male as a main before; hell, even as an alt.
2) The hubby doesn't want me to be a male troll

So this puts in a stand-still. What am I going to do? Male of Female troll?

If I make a male troll, I will still dislike some of the qualities he has. The hunched back, and few hair styles I like. Also the run. I go female, pretty much the same thing. So I'll be putting up a poll for you people to help me decide.

Also, we have all seen the Troll Druid Flight form.

Yes, its a bat. I'm ok with it; still a few bugs to it of course..BUT! I swear to Elune; if this thing doesn't have a good sit function..I'll never use flight form again. I'll let myself die if I get dismounted. >:(

Female Worgen Walk (Running Wild)

Everywhere I look for this animation, its just the run, or the Female Worgen dance. Which I don't really care for. So I logged on Beta and decided to check myself. The Walking animation of Running Wild at first I figured would be them going upright and walking, since I haven't seen any videos doing this yet.

I was wrong. They actually walk on all fours. I fraps'd it for anyone else who would wish to see this who is not in beta. I also was sure to show both sides of the walk, front and back. As well as what happens if you spin in a circle. Its kinda odd, but its decent.

Also, for those wondering, I did choose a new name. Its a secret until I decide to change :)

I'm looking towards those who read this blog to help me with a slight problem I am having. I am sticking with my druid come cata. I'm going to be Resto/Feral. I'm more than likely going Troll and well, I wish to rename. I need to think of a good Troll Druid name that isn't overused already.

2) A female Name
3) A Druid/Troll Theme'd name (Leaf, Tusk)

2) Names spelled incorrectly just to seem original

We was getting him to 40% before the patch, then it hit and our healers had a hard time healing infest with the new bubble changes. After wiping terribly on Monday in phase 1 constantly. Loko asked all our healers to take a look at a parse where healers kept everyone up and they won.

Apparently it worked. We lived every phase 1 through infest. We got him to 44%, then 39%..then 33% into 28%

Then it was a kill. A flawless kill. We had great defiles, valks didn't fuck us over, and when they did pick up an infest healer, druids were on task with tranquility.

God it felt so good! I couldn't breath while we was working from 20% to 10%. But its over now. All server firsts are taken. We took ICC with dominance just like Ulduar and ToGC. We missed out on Alagon and Heroic RS, but thats ok. And those wondering about 10mans, I don't count them. But we did kill heroic 10man lich first too.

Where do I start?

Well, its like this. Pre 4.0..it was Rej spam and an idiot ass DK who didn't know how to wait until the tank even touched a mob that made me hate life. Rej spamming a raid and throwing out Wild Growth on cooldown was boring.

Post 4.0-

I get to pay attention! I love having to stop and look and see who I'm about to swiftmend! Why? I love the proc AE heal it does. I love to make sure its on melee or a tank close to melee. I love the fact I can use Healing Touch again, and Regrowth is now like a Flash heal.

I love the fact I'm not stuck in a tree form the entire time. I can use costumes, play around and have fun again! It reminds me of vanilla and..I enjoy healing like I did back in Vanilla. So what does this mean?

My dk is going to be my number 1 alt. Foofy is going to stay my main in Cata and I learned the Crimson DeathCharger on her. This doesn't mean MRB is coming back to life. Oh no, we got another moonkin in the guild I can poke at to make one. You'll like his lovely British voice! I told him I wanted to rape it one day. Made a great conversation starter.

Anyway, yeah! Foofy is now going on 7+ years..I think she'll die when WoW Dies at this rate.

Loot Drama- Reigns of the Crimson DeathCharger

We've made several Shadowmournes in the guild. Two of them transferred without even trying to give out the quest items from the Guild's hard work of even getting them the shards. Last week we made another one, and well, we got loot from it this time.

I personally wanted the locket. Because well, I enjoy that song. But I rolled and lost. So I rolled on anything after that.

Final roll was for the Charger. I won with a 95. One member started to rant and rave about it. Afterall, I'm giving up on Foofy come Xpac. But the mount isn't BOP, its BOE. So I could give it to my Death Knight. Of course, alot of drama followed this.

"You are quitting Foofy!"
"Why would a DK want that mount?"

Etc.

I haven't learned it yet, its just sitting in my bags. I mean, seriously, people made me feel bad for winning something fair and square. I remembered what a member in our raid did before. Sold her Mim's Head to another raider. No one said anything. So I thought I would just sell it to a guildmate if they wanted it. Not to the general public. A few people didn't like that.

I thought about holding onto it and giving it to Azamath (who has been after the mount since its release) for his Birthday which is on the 25th of October. Several people wouldn't like that either. They would complain I played favorites.

I thought about giving it to the next highest roller, who had a 92. But me and the GM couldn't remember who had the roll and asking who had it would result in the "No, I did" comments or "No you didn't". So right now, as I said..its just sitting in my bags. I want to put it on my Death Knight or give it to Azamath. The comments of why would a DK want it however has kept me from going forward with it. And as for giving it to Aza, I don't want people to get bitchy over it before we kill HLK.

What do you guys think I should do? :(

And no, I wouldn't sell it to the server, I don't need 100k.

4.0 Tomorrow, what are my plans?

Someone asked me this serious question.

"What are your plans for tomorrow? You guys are still working on Lich King and I know you haven't kept up on the Moonkin changes"

Well, this is true. I haven't kept up to date on anything moonkin besides making sure people played well with eachother on the forums. I did log onto Beta a few times with a friend and test out rotations. I more or less just winged it with a broken chest piece Blizzard gave me and pumped out around 6.2-6.4k dps at 85 on a target dummy I wasn't hitcapped with. Or gemmed, or anything. Gotta love premade toons.

He was hitting around 7k, but also knew his rotation and kept up to date. So that shows how much I really paid attention. I also found a huge hate for things that glow. Flashing things drive me crazy, I just wanna press buttons to make them go away. So I'm going to OCD about it if I need to play Foofy until Cata.

However, I'm still dead set on my Death Knight. Been playing her alot in Beta. I have 3 Dk's. One for 80 testing, one for leveling testing and an 85 premade for max testing. I'm enjoying it alot. Sure the rune system makes me cuss a bit, but its still fun. I also sat down today and talked with our old guild tank who recently got to switch to his DK for DPS, which he has wanted to do for awhile.

We got to talking, and while hes a huge min/maxer and has been a tank for years, he hasn't been too pleased with my live spec or gearing choices. Needless to say, I don't have everything available to me but he knows I'm still trying to get into the hang of things. Especially after being a caster for 5-6 years. Its a change. His main problem was my taunt resists because I refused to glyph Dark Command (well, more like to lazy since I only got in alt runs anyway)

But we sat and talked, theorycrafted a bit. So I don't think hes so "I don't want you tanking" but more of "Well, you are trying Son, Don't be afraid to talk to me" so that makes me happy. Also, I decided on a name for my Death Knight. After all, its a complete 180 switch. A caster to a Melee, DPS to a Tank, Tauren to Goblin. So I made the decision to retire the name Foofy.

I'll still be holding onto it, as well as the other Foof-like names I have. However, I wanted to be someone new. Someone that can't be easily stalked (I say hi and trade and my name floods the place..the tank I just mentioned says I have a fanclub and stalkers :/ ). So, to feel completely new, my name will be changed to:

Bizzlesprout (inc QQ/LOLS/WTFS)

This looks like a Bizzlesprout to me, so I'm happy with it. Especially since I'm the only one with it (for now)

Anyway, back to the question at hand...

4.0, My Plans?

Nothing major. Reforge some stuff, get TauntCapped, Get into some raids, Get 4pc T10 and cooldown my way through Lich King.

Moonkin will be sitting unless needed for Lich King. Nothing more than that. Unless I need to heal my husband for Kara/ZG. Then half the time I just heal him on Fooferd my Shaman.

As I said, Foofy is retiring. Shes an Old cow and needs to go to the Old Cow Home. She might become my Herbalist due to the lovely racial Flower picking speed she will now get. (lol)

Anyway, those are my plans! What are yours?

Pushing Forward: Heroic Lich, Did you miss us?

Thats right. We got more members coming in. Not just 1 or 2, but several coming in. We're getting back up in numbers and this time with people who can play. Not us carrying 5 people just so the spots are filled. So, we once again get to wave at Heroic Lich and soon, he will be dead.

First off, Reawaken is still going. People showed up last night not expecting to raid, but our GM put together a really crappy raid group that you would not even use in a pug, but we still did 10/12Heroic 25man (healer had to leave for Sindragosa) and we did it an hour after we normally raid.

So, people's spirits were brought back up, especially when we had a bit of trouble with Heroic PP. People just being stupid I guess. So we got a Mr. Shkan speech and we then killed him after fixing a tanking issue (we forgot to have a third tank since we was missing some core dps last night)

We still used Fafs, friends, and non guildmates to do it, but we had alot more guildies on this time. We only had about 3 fafs/nonguildies. Which is pretty damn good. We got a hunter recruit and he didn't do to bad from what I saw.

I also had a chat with another guild leader on our server. After much discussion (if you want to call it that) it seemed to me he was dissing my guild. At first, I figured it was a joke until he said "Reawaken isn't good enough to transfer to"

Any guild, no matter the progression is good enough to transfer to for anyone. Its the guild itself that makes the guild, not the progression. If we are going in terms of progression and not the environment of the guild, then yeah..we wouldn't be a top list since we haven't gotten heroic lich down yet due to membership problems, but if you think about it...what are those guilds doing anyway? Nothing...Clear in one day and then do nothing the rest of the week. I know a few people in 12/12 guilds who have quit and said they aren't coming back till Cata.

Well, we still have stuff to kill and we still want to do it. So the people who want to are still around. But yeah, was kinda pissed at the comment. Especially when we talked about Staghelm dying and if we got free realm transfers to the server from other servers, we would be destroyed.

Long story really.

But in the end, at the end of the raid night after we killed Lich; I was sure to say my piece in the raid before logging off for the night.

"Hey guys, just remember...I'm going into Cata with Reawaken as my guild tag..how about you?"

Oh, and this happened during raid. So you know we was in good spirits. :-D

Not Looking Good -Sadface-

Well, its not looking good for my guild. We've been working on Heroic Lich 25man since April. Got him to 40% after going through 1 break and having to find new members, and now, here is the second time..but its worse.

We originally had around 30 raiders when ICC started, then we got to Heroic Lich and it began to downfall. Some people had to quit for Real Life. Understandable. Others, just kinda stopped showing up. No word, nothing. We had maybe 1 or 2 people get pissed about loot because they didn't have the attendance over someone else and leave that way too.

For the past 2-3 Months, our Guild Master has been trying to recruit people. Only apps we have gotten are people well...you probably wouldn't want either. Most didn't know what parses were, not gemmed or enchanted, or even stepped foot into ICC past Lady DeathWhisper (How, I have no idea).

So its not like we was being real picky, there was just nothing to even pick from. And when we did get new recruits, something came up. Apartment problems or Real Life (jobs). Its not like they just left us. Its just it was always us, never someone else.

Now, our forum is being spammed with people leaving. I had an idea this would happen after our warrior who just got his Shadowmourne that night would ninja transfer. And yes,we all know where you went to you Sleezbag, I hope you enjoy your Emerald Dream pvp. You'll be murdered over there since you aren't as good as you think you are. Good thing you left too, we wasn't looking forward to seeing your dps with a Shadowmourne either. No warrior should be 5-6th on the DPS meters in your gear. Look at the TOP dps'ers..you are a few thousand behind them.

Anyway, our Spriest left. I figured that would happen. He wanted to only raid 3 nights a week in cata. So he found a guild for that. As long as hes happy. Our Warlock Left. I knew she was looking but she atleast said goodbye.. And now our Top DPS'er DK is leaving. I can only see more leaving now. From a roster of 18 people trying to clear 11/12 Heroic 25man ICC every week with using FAF's (Friends and Family), Alts, and Unguilded/Guilded people from off the server...We was doing pretty good, but with top dps'ers leaving..it wont look to good much longer.

I was trying to help the GM by looking at maybe a Guild Merger. There are a few guilds he talked to and some he liked, some he didn't like. I don't know what his plans are since we are still having problems recruiting. But as I told my husband and told others in the guild.. I really don't want to leave the guild, the group of people I raid with is just amazing. I never really felt at home like this since my first raiding guild back in Vanilla.

People are funny, even if you piss eachother off, you get over it and still make jokes at eachother. I mean, I got in a huge fight with Kuru a few months back and I just ignored it and moved on. Its like a brother/sister thing in there.

We rag on eachother constantly and make sure everyone is having fun. So I really hate to see the guild break up, but as it looks, we have maybe 10-13 active raiders? I really don't know anymore. Either way, I already told the GM I'd go where he goes. Hes one of those guys you only meet once in a lifetime.

So, what should I do if all does go down hill and the GM decides to merger?

1) Follow with 1 toon (the main I'm going to be in cata)
2) Take 2 toons (Foof and Foofy)
3) Convince him to become a 10man cata guild
4) Eat more cake

Not so scrubby anymore!

I don't feel so damn scrubby anymore on my Death Knight. I've been working on her gear and have 2-3 pieces to go that I can buy with Frost Emblem gear. I don't get to do 25man ICC and 10man ICC everyweek because I try and save myself for guild runs. Which don't always happen. If I could get in on our 25man guild runs, I would only have 2 pieces I would be after.

Anyway, with only getting into a few ICC10man runs, I finally was able to get my drake last night. A few mains needed it and they took me along since they needed a tank. It took two weeks and some mains still need it (they didn't show up last night so we took other people)

So yeah, I'm pretty happy overall. I don't look so scrubby on my Rusted Proto anymore. I was able to take some annoyingly big hits from heroic mode bosses and I'm pretty proud of myself for being able to have the gm talk to me like a normal tank when he came on the runs too.

My last post was about how Customer Service in general is falling downhill for Blizzard. My husband's account only got a 72hour ban but it was for nothing. He sent in an email telling them they need to read before they delete posts or even read through them and see what is going on. Why? The troll in the original post was just being stupid and thus got reported. However, when a report happens, they look at the entire thread and took it as a level 1 vs a level 80. The level 80 won apparently. Because he responded to a level 1.

So, I want everyone who reads this blog and has one of their own and post their thoughts on how the Forums and Ingame service is being ran. Blizzard does amazingly read a few blogs, so it may get the message to them that they need to revise what is going on with the people they are hiring. Cause lately, its been very lazy.

Wow GM's & CM's..What are they for?

When I first joined this game, GM;s were friendly, highly into RP and READ TICKETS that were submitted. Forums were slightly trolled, links could be posted and the real idiots were banned.

Nowadays, the World Of Warcraft is turning into a cesspit of watered down shit. How do I see this? Well, lets look at how the forums are moderated at this time.

Currently, there are over a couple million people who post on the forums now, compared to what it was in 2004. CM's really had to step up in the ruling when it comes to people not following the ToS Of Forum Conduct. However, there are always people caught in the crossfire who get banned for no reason. This is the result of CM's just taking down an entire thread and taking everyone with it. Even if they did nothing wrong.

Several examples are

Me, I qouted a troll on the Druid forums awhile ago and got perma banned for adding to the spam.
Crackhorn, an old buddy from another server, banned for posting a youtube video of his Arena back in BC (Apparently this was spam)
Jessieroxz, A loving person who enjoyed just having fun in Wintergrasp. He would make several @ posts at people singing songs to them. He got perma banned because he was considered spamming for posting lyrics to songs (not rickrolls, other songs)

These are just a few. As you can see, most people are just caught in a crossfire. The funny thing is, to each of the posts, there was a real troll involved. And guess what? Those trolls are normally still active today. The trolls for Crackhorn and Jess are both still highly active and have not been banned at all. So...What is going on here?

Why did I bring this post up? Well, since being Perma Banned on my main account, I have been using a second account. I did Wintergrasp yesterday and well, it was highly fun. I did it on my Blood DK (tank) and ended up being focused by Alliance because I was pretty hard to kill. In one instance 2 prot warriors took me on. I killed them both. I had to chase down the other and kill him, but I killed him. I even have him a /love emote to show no hard feelings.

So, this is considered spam? Why? Is it because I posted on a Level 1? Sorta. Blizzard is really becoming racist/levelist(?) against people who aren't max level lately. My level one is still named Foofy, and everyone knows me. So, did I get banned for the lyrics? Well, apparently. Or was it the fact I posted this and a random troll comes in, says something and I refuse to respond? Thus making it look like I posted it and ran? Another hard to say. But Blizzard is getting out of hand with these bans.

Now lets go and look at Ingame stuff!

It takes forever to get a GM ticket answered. A real issue ticket can take easily 10 days to handle. Someone harassing you? Inc 3 day tickets, 3 more days of harassment. Yeah, had that happen to me before. And Yeah, ignore works, but its annoying when they delete the level 1s they are harassing you on and create a new one to bypass the ignore feature.

Wrong item? Bugged gear? 10 days. Oh, here is my favorite that sent my server into a frenzy! If a character name has been inactive for awhile, you are able to petition a GM and take that name. I did that for my DK. She used to be named Foofer, but apparently her name was reported for sexual/drug. (lol?) So I named her Vole. I opened up a petition on my druid Foofy, inquiring about the name. The petition stated "I want the name on my DEATH KNIGHT if the name is available for the take"

Ticket was opened for 12 days. Understandable, wasn't a major issue. Then one day, I log on. All my addons are messed up. I'm like WTF folks..Then I start getting mass whispered

"Why did you change your name?"
"Am I broke or is there no Y to your name?"
"D:!"
"No! Foof! WHY?!"

I'm like..huh? So I look at my name. The GM name changed my druid to Foof and never touched my Death Knight, even though the ticket pointed out the name was to go to my Death Knight. Epic facepalm there on reading skills of GM's.

Oh, here is another example! I have the Swift Spectral Tiger and since I'm going to be playing my DK in Cata, I opened a petition on my Druid (who has the mount) to place it on my DK. So, ticket waits out its time and I get an offline response..while online..

"Sorry, we were unable to find that item to restore it"

Ok? Restore? Wut? Its on my toon, why would it need to be restored?

The game's customer service is falling downhill, and fast. Really fast. Forums are being spammed and trolled by millions and people who do legit posts get the knockdown. Ingame tickets take forever and half the time GM's never read it so you get a half assed response.

Its getting to the point I log on and hope nothing goes wrong, because if it does, I really don't want to deal with a GM anymore. Or let alone read the forums. Its full of dribble anyway. I don't even post on the Druid forums to help people like I used to. No one knows how to read stickies, let alone if you post on a toon that isn't a druid they think you are trolling.

In-game, trade chat is spammed and guild recruitment posts fight with eachother. Its never used to selling anymore.

Humanity is failing in the ability to read. This must be the 2012 people are worried about.

I can't stand logging on Foofy much anymore but to do my 4 hours of raid (a week it seems) and then log off. But lately I've had a real hankering to get some of the stupid easy achievements on my Death Knight. Such as Explorer, Well Read, Friend or Fowl? You know..those ones.

Well, I spent 3 days with free time and I knocked out my Explorer, and as I type this post, I'm afk auto attacking a treant in Crystal Song leveling my Unarmed. This will give me "Did Someone Order a KnuckleSandwich?" and Master of Arms. I'm 2 pets off of "Plenty of Pets", and I will be going back into the old world to collect all the pets I don't have. Which is alot. I have plenty of rep farming to do so I can unlock all the mounts I need. But I will do that over time. If I rep farm all at once, I end up hating myself.

I do however want to farm up my Thrallmar Rep. Their tabard has always been awesome and I need it for my Tabard Achievement anyway. That and the Sunreaver Tabard. Which I'm pretty much done in getting. Also going for the Shattered Sun Tabard. They all look nice.

Some quests I got on my list to do are:

Hemet Nesingwary: The Collected Quests
Of Blood and Anguish
Classic Dungeon Master
Classic Raider

Just to name a few anyway. I'm also pretty ticked, beta broke goblins so I haven't been able to level mine for awhile now. My Husband keeps stealing my beta added to that and with the level cap raised, I have yet to earn a level for myself on my druid. Hes determined to map out a quest route. Sad thing is, the way they did the starting zones, Vashj will be packed, and Hyjal is just to short. So we're kinda stuck if we wanna beat a rush. He wants server first, I could care less. I just wanna level and get to raiding again. Thats how I see it. Hes more of an achievement whore than I am.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens!

Ideas and Fixes on Guild Problems

Well, yeah, still recruiting. I have however been thinking a lot about what can be done to fix the recruitment issue. The main issue at hand is people are just dealing with either Real Life or just like 95% of the others, waiting till Cataclysm launches.

I'm not one of those 95%. I see the Heroic Lich King as the final boss in the game that we have yet to beat. No one on the server has beaten it yet as we are all going through these issues. Pretty much every guild that was making a push into Icecrown is having the same problem as us.

What are some solutions?

1) Recruiting
Recruiting people who want to actually raid is the most reasonable fix. However, we've been trying to recruit people who will actually show up for raid or at least post on the MIA forum for awhile now. We've even gone to other servers after looking up GearScores (cringe) and progression attached to some players just to ask them if they was looking for another guild.

Even if we have people interested, our server is pretty much crap now adays. Its set as a "New Players" Realm even though is pretty old. Our server ecomony is down the drain, its 3:1 Alliance to Horde so no one who likes to PVP in Wintersgrasp is interested in our server. Our Battlegroup is pretty bad too. Other guilds on the server are behind. There is only 1 Horde guild 11/12 heroic 12/12 10man Heroic, and only 2 alliance guilds 11/12 heroic and 12/12 heroic 10man.

2) Merger
A guild merger is another way to get people together to kill a boss. The problem is not everyone will like the new rules, you will always get bad eggs, cliches and other stuff brought in with a merger. Sometimes it works out, most times, it doesn't.

3) Faction Transfer
We was looking at faction transfering to Alliance. They have a much bigger player base and most people who would want to app that we have talked to don't want to leave the Alliance side. Mainly because they want to be worgen come Xpac or leave their friends, or just don't like the look of the Horde.

4) Server Transfer
We looked at server transfers as well. If we was to leave the server, it would be in worse shape, but that also doesn't mean going to a new server would fix anything. I did a server transfer once as a guild and that guild is now disbanded. Only a few members of the guild was accepted on the new server. Others were treated like crap because they tried to make themselves out to be better than everyone else. Why? Our guild was the top of the server in BC, when transfering, we meet other guilds who had the same progression. I guess a few member's Ego's got the best of them.

There are so many ways to look about on how to fix this. But every fix has its own consequence. So its never guaranteed to work. Needless to say, we're still recruiting and even if I looked at another guild to join, I wouldn't have anywhere to go.

The guild I'm in now has a bunch of great people. I love their loot system and I am going to my Death Knight come Cata. If I was looking at a guild to transfer to now, my Death Knight would be accepted, only my Druid. I see no reason to transfer my druid when I don't want to play her. So, I'm stuck no matter what.

Hopefully everything turns out well in the end.

Besides wasting an hour of my life watching that new Legends Machinima, making a post about it giving my review. I log on to find out 2 recruits quit. Not to mention 3 other people are gone for the week. So now I'm getting really ticked. Nothing against those who may read this and think its them but let me post something that was placed on our website by a fellow guildie who is getting fed up with people not showing up. Just like me.

When you applied, when you interviewed, when you were given the green light and the ginvite, you signed (whether you were aware of this or not) a contract. You committed yourself to the loot list, the requested raid conduct, the 20-hour schedule. These exist for a reason; we play by these rules because they bring stability and organization.

We are not holding up our end of the bargain. And not just to the tag, but to our fellow raiders.

I understand things come up. I understand shit happens. This is the reason for the existance of emergency hours. But none of us agreed to join under the pretense that we give 20 hours a week unless friends want to go hang out, or 20 hours a week unless we want to live it up on the weekend, or unless some cool new game came out or we just don't feel like showing up or whatever other stupid casual thing. We each said that we would do everything within our power to give 20 hours a week.

At this point, I'd also like to reiterate the universal sentiment that not posting an MIA when you can't make it is really fucking annoying. I can't think of anyone who doesn't feel this way. Holy shit, please give us a heads up. It is not that goddamn hard.

There is about 2 full post lengths worth of this post, so its not all going to show. But the post has a fucking point. When you apply to a guild, you are saying "HEY! YEAH! I wanna join! I CAN AND WILL Make your requirements. Raid times and skill wise"

Everyone knows real life comes up, it happens. But as you can read from the post, people weren't posting in MIA either. So people are logging on expecting people to log on in return. In example:

We have this hunter, we'll call him "Hunter without Shoes". He was recruited to raid full time since our two current hunters at the time had college and real life jobs to deal with. Fine, we're ok with that. However, he would tunnel vision and get people killed, still tunnel visioning and standing in shadow traps, and tunnelvisioning some more. He would miss several days, only seeming to log on for Free loot Tuesday. After it seemed he got the gear he wanted he kinda just stopped showing up.

Now he just doesn't show up. I've talked with his old GM who is on our server and she doesn't expect any less as he has done this several times before. Disappearing for a month then coming back and expecting to raid. Thats not happening here. Our GM already stated its on a full out recruit and if people don't show up and don't post an MIA, they will be demoted on the spot.

SO! If you are being annoyed with your guild and wanna raid with me and my guild who are still not giving up and still clearing up to 11/12 Heroic 25man Lich with like only 19 fucking people, we're looking for more!

Wow Machinima: Legends Review

It comes in 5 parts and apparently has a second video coming out to it. So before I get started with what I have to say, lets talk about what this video is about. Gul'dan is revived by his minions and wages war on the Alliance. The entire first movie is pretty much two humans traveling around trying to find "Legends" or the "Old Heroes" from the Orc/Human wars (Alliance Vs Horde)

Now, I joined the game without ever playing any of the Warcraft games. I read up on the Lore and was schooled by my husband. I read a good bit of lore off the website and always ask questions when a boss appears I don't know the Lore behind.

So, lets us start with the review:

Video
The movie was made 90% in game and 10% with Wow Model Viewer. The scenes with Wow Model Viewer stick out and look really nice. The Ingame is decent if you put it on 750p. There are times lighting was off in a few parts, but others it was a nice feel to it.

Voice Acting
The voice acting wasn't to bad, I've seen worse (mine for example). However, alot of it felt off. The two main characters sounded fine (paladin seemed to be louder than the other). The Human warrior was spot on and I loved him. Dwarf was ok and Bolvar needed a bit of work. However every other voice acting seemed sluggish and bottish (Hey! like me! :/ )

Subtitles
A lot of misspelled words. That is all.

Story Line
The Story line I have a slight problem with. I'm all for Alliance viewed Videos, but this just feels to Fanboyish to me. The Story line was supposed to be about how Gul'dan is revived and now they must gather the old heroes and fight Gul'dan's army and bring peace to their faction. However, its just seems like mindless slaughter and anything that is in-game as a Horde is considered the enemy. So even though there are two factions and inside the movie Gul'dan's own minions state "The Horde are stronger than they once where and will not be easily manipulated" (more or less), The Horde is apparently the bad guy. So, even the movie starts out saying "Oh the Horde isn't apart of this" But then the Alliance leaders apparently question Thrall. Fuck! We all know Thrall is a peace-loving hippy with political power. He isn't a brute. He would only attack if he was attacked first. They know it, or should anyway. Especially since King Chinpin isn't there to call any orcs "Pigs" :/

Ok, fine. But its like..all the villians have no real umphf to them when they end up fighting. Take the Orc scene where they get captured. He says he wants to do some trading with the other faction. However, it doesn't say if its for the Horde and Alliance have some old Horde war people in their jails or what. Or if hes for Gul'dan and is looking to trade and what for what. I mean, its slightly confusing but it was only a scene to bring in some Hero hunter.

Another scene is when they just waltz right into Undercity to find a Night Elf Rogue who is just sitting there on the throne in stealth. Not doing anything, just chilling. Ok, fine..yeah..Rogues hang out in Undercity all the time. Easy place to just mess with people. But then hes all "The Undead have sensed you" Blah blah blah I'm gonna stealth and leave you guys to die.

Then the Forsaken come out. Just come out and stand there getting ready to attack. This is the part I'm like- What. The. Fuck. Horde and Alliance are supposed to be at peace now, it even says it in the very start of the movie! But they come out here and just want to kill. No one says "Oh, what are you doing here?! There was a treaty for you not to be on our lands" Or something. No, just come out and start killing things. Yeah, made real sense right there. A Horde Capital and no one of High Authority comes out to see why Alliance are in a place they shouldn't be, especially when there is supposed to be peace? Kinda screwy to me.

So what are they doing this entire time if the story is trying to say its Gul'dan's army? Is the Horde just sitting there watching it all? Thrall not trying to help?

Overall:
Ok, so it may seem I'm more towards Horde here, but I'm all for Wow Machinima. Horde or Alliance viewed. But this movie just seems to Alliance Fanboyish to me. The Story didn't seem to follow anything except finding these Heroes. It starts out saying there is a peace, shows Gul'dan being revived and raising an Army of people wearing anything they can to try and seem cool, yet it constantly continues to call the group "The Horde", the "New Horde".

Lets Wow Wiki it, shall we?

The History of the Horde spans several decades of an organization^{HPG 4} that has taken many forms. In the early years of the Horde, it existed as a ravenous war machine fueled by demonic energy. In the past the Horde was comprised mainly of orcs, but also including forest trolls, ogres, goblins, and undead death knights. It was created through the manipulations of the Burning Legion, in particular, Kil'jaeden the Deceiver, to act as the perfect puppet for their demonic masters and to serve them unquestioningly. In modern times it has become relatively peaceful, and includes orcs, Darkspear trolls, tauren, Forsaken, blood elves, goblins and Stonemaul ogres.
The Horde's major military victory was the destruction of the former kingdom of Azeroth in the First War. Though at first they had the upper hand on the conflict, they were in the end defeated in the Second War, with the surviving orcs placed in internment camps, and their allies going their separate ways. The liberation of the orcs from those camps, and eventually from demonic control, marked the beginning of the modern Horde.

So, when you say "The Horde" you are out of the story line(Even the term "New Horde" is wrong due to the timeline in this video). The movie is about the war being over and then starting again on something, I dunno. Either way, Illidan has been killed and yada yada yada. So, Grom isn't there. So..not his Horde.

But the movie never says it! It just groups them all into one and apparently everyone is a bad guy! WOOOSH! And for those going "Its his movie, let him do what he wants!" Sure..he can do what he wants. I don't mind that he does, but if he is going to bring lore in to the movie from the start and then fuck it up the ass and laugh in its face, then I don't wanna watch it. Wish I had my 1 hour back. :/

TL;DR

If the second movie can do something about the Story Line, (where the horde are in this, I don't care if its 10 seconds of a scene, just fix a major problem here!) get the Alliance to see they are not fighting "The Horde" and are fighting another army as well as the take on If the Horde will help or not. Then, I'd take a peep at it. Until then, the storyline is one of the major things wrong in the first movie.

Just figured I would tell a story because it made me laugh.

I've been doing alot more pvp/duels on my Death Knight. So I normally sit outside of Orgrimmar to have fun. This mage comes up to me and challenges me. Whatever, I take it. I destroy him after he pops everything. Then he decides to make a comment "Oh, I can beat you on my main" and I'm like "whatever, go ahead."

I don't think much of it. So I wait while he brings out his main. Then I see it. A balance druid. Badly geared, gemmed, and sure as hell has a bad spec. I'm sitting here just shaking my head. He goes into PVP gear and then we start. So, being that Foofy is a Moonkin; I know what is going to be thrown at me.

Of course, I'm right on the money. I have his rogue guildmate in a whisper with me and I'm telling him I know what is going to happen. Hes going to Treant and Starfall and hope to burn me down in a second. Sure enough, here come trees and starfall. I just just him keep casting on him as I kill his trees with my shell up. I just chain deathstrike on them healing myself when need be.

Then I turn towards him. I saw he was spec'd for typhoon, so I run up to him. BAM! Typhoon, thats when I death grip him and go to town. Then come the roots, then comes my chains of ice and his spamming of shapeshifting.

Needless to say, I played with him the entire time just to let him go oom. Then I just beat him.Right after it he goes "URGH I HATE Death Knights!" and I'm just laughing at the whole deal. So he respec's and then goes resto and duels me. Yeah, ok. This guy just wants to feel OP once so I let him but I auto attack half the time. While he thinks I'm getting mad hes all "OH! ALMOST GOT ME!" "COMON" "ALMOST THERE" "OH SO CLOSE"

I'm still laughing so I end up letting him run out of range and forfeit. The whole time hes laughing thinking he did something good. He even was like "YOU BAD! YOU STACKING STAM!!!!" Well, I'm a tank? I was so tempted to get on Foofy and show him how I could burn his ass down so easily with him being resto, but the igs bots were in Orgrimmar making hearts and shapes and I found it a better use of my time.

TL;DR

Fishing with the Rest

Ok, so yesterday we didn't raid, so I decided to get some achievements done on my Death Knight. Mine sweeper was amazingly easy, the wyrmrest daily was done in one shot (they nerfed it :( ), and I killed some turkies and whatnot, but somehow failed. I'm also slowly exploring all of Azeroth for my Explorer title. After doing it once, I really rather not sit there for several hours going from place to place discovering it all. So I want to take my time. I should 'hopefully' have it done before Xpac.

'Hopefully'...

Anyway, we got several new recruits this week. Picked up a second moonkin who didn't do to bad. The GM was asking me about her dps which for her gear level, is decent. Just a few tweaks and it will be great. That way he has no worries about gearing her up and letting me switch when he feels comfortable. Hes already noticing I'm on my Death Knight more than my Druid. I'm even stomaching to level fishing on her. I've leveled it on my Paladin and my Druid and now my Death Knight is next. After that, its cooking. Cooking is the easy part for me. The only time I had trouble was when you had to be friends/netural with the goblins to get the cooking quest back in BC. Being the Idiot I am, I went Bloodsail first then tried to level cooking....2 years sitting at 225 cooking was fun. It truly was!

Continuing on, I had a random level 1 log onto Staghelm and start talking to me about why I'm doing Death Knight, about how Death Knights Suck. How I should stay moonkin and whatnot. While I understand alot of people want me to stay moonkin, I'm really not doing this because of the eclipse changes. Which is all the guy said I was doing it for.

I've explained before that there are so many factors going on that its just not fun for me anymore.

1) Yes, I hate eclipse
2) Druids have a healing spec available, and I hate healing..it stresses me out
3) Tired of the female tauren broken model. I want to be a goblin come Xpac! And Goblins can't be druids
4) I enjoy tanking, and not feral tanking, plate wearer tanking. Feral druid tanking seemed to easy to me
5) I want to see the game in a new perspective. Not just as druid like I have for the past 5 years
6) Being able to take hits in pvp is fun, especially when I can kill melee who don't have a chance to rape my face in seconds.

(HA YOU DAMN BLADESTORMING WARRIORS! **please note I pvp in WG with PVE gear..don't hate!***)

There are of course several more, but I'm not going to make a huge list about it. But those who are wondering, I am still going to level Foofy. Shes my enchanter after all. I will still be active on TMR. Wolfwood already said he doesn't mind me becoming a Dirty Death Knight as long as I continue to do my job. That means I will still be theorycrafting a bit with Moonkin, but really become more of a follower. This means no Moonkin Raiding Basic's Videos.

So hopefully there won't be anymore questions on the matter. At least I hope so! Anyway, I'm heading off. I have to start packing for a weekend trip with my Husband. Got a Family Picnic in PA we go to. So..

Well, I won't lie...DK tanking is fun but challenging. Well, its challenging for me when you run into a pack of 7 mobs, stunned off the bat and the Ret paladin in the group pops his wings and then just divine storms.

Yeah..Highly fun! I'm seeing where people are talking about how DK tanking is Gimckie due to the rune system. I have also been poking around with Dk's in beta. With the new system that allows you to refresh a used rune, it helps out a bit but not as much as many may think. I've also gotten around to solo'ing stuff on my DK for money and well, achievements. Not used to being able to take hits and heal, I was amazed. Its so easy compared to trying to solo something on my Druid. Yeah, if I go feral, its easy, but I really dislike feral so I always try to solo stuff as a moonkin.

I can always do the damage, but never take the hits like a DK would to be able to survive for a long period of time. So Solo'ing for my ZG mounts on Foofy are kinda hard, my DK, was a breeze. Took longer than I wanted it to but hey, I lived with 100% health because Death Strike is is amazingly OP.

I also decided to play around in Wintergrasp with my DK. She is full tank gear and can take hits, but she can't really dish them..or so I thought. Two Night Elf Druids thought it would be funny to run up, cyclone, shadowmeld and fly away. Well, it was funny until I caught one of them. A moonkin in full t10, 264 gear, destroyed by me within seconds. Yeah, didn't think I had a pvp trinket, did ya? And yes, she pop'd starfall, and Anti-Magic Shell is OP and now I know why so many DK's faceroll in pvp.

But it was the most fun I had in years. I'm loving it!

Since I'm playing my Death Knight more and more, I figured I would be the achievement whore I am and start working. However, after doing over half the crap I have on Foofy once, I gotta find the nerve to do it again. Foofy has over 9k achievement points, Foof barely has 2k. I have alot of catching up to do.

However, I did get one of the major achievements out of the way! A new title! Now I'm like every other lame kid! WOO WOO!

Achievements to go:
1) Explorer
2)All Instance achievements
3) Raiding Achievements
4) Level Cooking and Fishing

And yes, I race changed. I personally hate the female tauren model. I didn't want to be a Blood Elf or an Orc, I have enough Orcs, so I figured I would become something rare like when I first made Foofy. So here I am, the server's only active Female Troll DK! One of the Few Troll DK's as is!

Also, for those wondering, I tanked the ICC group and the GM healed me on his shaman. I told him I hope it burned the entire time and paybacks are a bitch. :)

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

I Fucking hate to heal.

I hate healing ungrateful bastards who don't know how not to roll their face on the keyboard when a boss engages and dies in one shot because they can't wait for a tank to even touch the mob.

Seriously, I do.

Our Resto shaman is MIA for an UNKNOWN amount of time due to apparent Inet issues. Fine..whatever. However, our Resto druid is out of town until Sunday. So who gets pulled to heal? I do. I talk to the GM about this before.

I hate to heal, but if its to help the guild, I'll heal.

There is no "Hey foofy, Could you please heal this? We could use it" No its "Foofy, go resto"

I stopped healing back at the end of Vanilla. I couldn't stand it. Healing to me is stressful, and trust me, I'm a HUGE bitch when I get stressed out. I'm more than sure I pissed a couple people off when I logged off after raid saying "Fuck everyone" in guild before just disappearing. I had my share of rights though.

There is a resto druid in guild, his name will not be mentioned, but he used to raid with us in Ulduar. Then decided he didn't want to raid anymore and quit. Ok, fine. However, now adays we're bringing alts,faf,s and whatnot to our ICCheroics (25s). Fine, we gotta kill. I'm ok with that.

We do Sindy with this resto druid. As soon as the GM says to head to TOGC, his ass logs off and onto an alt. BAM! In the raid as an alt. I hope hes enjoying all the gear hes getting on him. Not only that, we have an elemental shaman, barely gets asked to heal. I'm ok with that. Hes a cool guy, but hes back to elemental as soon as we step foot into TOGC.

Do I get asked if I wanna dps? Nope..stuck healing. No one, no nothing. But the alt thing really pissed me off today. If he stayed on his druid until Anub when we could have used the alt, fine..I'm ok with that. But nope. Everyone walk over Foofy. Its the cool fucking thing to do now days.

I can't wait till I switch to my DK. Tired of Healers being late, not showing up, and more. Tired of going resto and healing people who love to bitch at others when they do wrong but never say anything when they pull their own idiot moments.

Really feeling as if I'm a doormat for the guild right now.

A Wild Foof Appears!

Well, I got alot of whispers after my post stating what I was doing for Cata. Needless to say, alot of people do have an understanding of where I am coming from. Especially when its other moonkin who have been doing the same thing I have.

Needless to say, here is my Death Knight! Shes already got her own catch phrase, coined by several in trade chat. "A wild Foof Appears!"

She is going to be race changed to a Goblin when it comes available. I am enjoying everything about them on the Cata Beta right now. They have so much work put into their character models. Their racials are fun (Rocket Boots Anyone?)

Their starting zones are fun, especially if you just want to drive around and hit people with the car. However, being the over achiever I am, I have to get the basic achievements done on this Death Knight before I feel shes ready for Cata.

That includes all the simple achievements. I will get my raiding achievements done when I get to play her. My Guild Master knows my plan, and he is ok with it. I show up everynight to raid. I do my best and I bring what I need to get the job done. For him, this is a permanent tank. We've gone through so many tanks in the past year or so, its sad. Its not that we're bad or anything. We still get server firsts and still get our stuff done. Just people up and leave. A few tanks we had are:

Kurushimi
Kilaz
Arment
Some random warrior that was with us for a week at the start of Ulduar
Zirro

And don't get me started on warlocks. Went through about 10 in Ulduar. Mainly because they was bad or expected to be carried. I dunno. But as I said, hes happy. Now he has a perma tank who will show up to raids, ready and willing!

And while shes not the best geared DK out there on the server, she's already getting attention. I've been doing alot of pugs. Comments such as "You're the best DK tank I've seen in a LONG TIME" really makes me feel I'm doing my job. I've been reading tankspot alot and asking questions where needed. My threat is pretty damn good and I don't get hit like paper.

Overall, I'm happy. This is the spark I needed. Something new, something I haven't really focused on before. I log on my DK more than my druid now. I've been farming up flasks, indestructables, and food as preparation for when the GM says "Log onto your DK Foofy"

EEE! I can't wait :D
Oh and yes, I have already designed my Death Knight Goblin. This is what she will look like.

Moving On

Well, I know a few people know of it, but I figured its time I post it so everyone knows. This way I can handle the questions in one lump sum as well.

A few people heard, but this will be a shock to most of you. After 5 years of playing Foofy the Druid, I have decided I needed a Class change. With Cataclysm and major changes, I figured it would be the best time. I am moving to my Death Knight Foof and am going to be the Death Knight Tank for the guild. I have always enjoyed being a caster, but being the same class for 5 years, seeing the same thing for the 5 years, and just feeling limited really killed the spark of the game for me.

Just like others who grow bored, I made alts to keep my interest in. However, alts can only help so much. So yeah, I think its time Foofy takes a well needed break.

Questions and Answers:

Question: WHY?!

Answer: As I stated, I've been a druid for 5 years. Sometimes, playing something for so long makes the game, not so fun.

Question: But you could respec!

Answer: I could, but there is a fine line of what I can stand. I dislike Feral. I even tried it out in beta, and don't get me started on resto healing. I already get asked to help heal sometimes for the guild and I really just want to log off and walk away.

Question: Are you doing this because of the moonkin changes on beta?

Answer: Beta isn't even over, some people are going to say I am and then say I'm jumping to conclusions. Let them think what they want. Yeah, I've seen the new eclipse change, and I still don't care. Overall, I am tired of dealing with eclipse itself. Even if it turns out to be something amazing and a huge dps increase with no set backs, I really just want to do something new. As I said, 5 years and counting...the spark is gone.

Question: Are you going to stay horde and with your current guild?

Answer: Yes, I'm staying horde unless something happens. Same goes for my guild.

Questions: So....any other things we should know?

Answer: Well, I am also a bit ticked at the fact I've dealt with not being able to use Noggenfogger, or any other costume while raiding. I enjoy outfits, I enjoy messing around and seeing different stuff. A druid spends about 10% of their life in humanoid form. We can't see our armor (I'm also tired of wearing dresses) and yes, I am "meh" about that. I remember way back when some of you druids didn't know the game existed. I could use my Orb of Deception, go bear form, and still be a gnome. Or go cat form and stealth as a gnome and mess around at TM where all the PVP action was at. Same with Noggenfogger. And no, they didn't get rid of it due to a script issue. They got rid of it due to PVP QQ of not knowing what form a druid is in at first glance.

Question: What will happen to MRB?

Answer: They will be discontinued. I will be happy to pass the reigns to someone else if they so want it.

Well, thats it for me. The Cupcake Factory will still be around. More or less be updated with more of the Guild stuff, what is going on for me, and whatnot.

And yes, I am race changing to goblin with my Death Knight when Available. They are so much fun on Beta!

Its a talked about Topic, and I'm just going to keep this short and sweet.

My main account was banned for trolling, mainly for pissing off another troll who was spamming the druid forums. I post my on husband's account, which he is fine with. He is however not fine with the RealID. Only reason why he uses it is to send me messages in game when I'm on my alliance toon asking me to get him a sandwich.

Either way, I will not be posting on the Blizz forums anymore. Its a breach of my husband's privacy if I do, and even if I had my own account..seeing real names instead of character names just ruins the MMO feel to me.

A real life Splurt

Ok, first off..let me say this.

With that out of the way..time to tell a story.

No, this isn't a story about a guy named Jim. Its a story of a crazy lady who walked in to a Midas Shop.

Yes, thats correct. I'm a desk girl for Midas! I handle all welcomes, incoming phone calls and checkouts. So..lets get started with the story!

I'm minding my own business when I see this lady walk across my parking lot. I think nothing really about it. Maybe she was just checking out the shop or the tire rack, since she stopped and looked at the tires. Alot of folks do that. So I go back to handling a bit of paperwork and think nothing of it. Then she walks inside. Being the polite person I am, I welcome her in.

Me: "Hello! Welcome to Midas, what can I do for you?"
Lady: "Do you know where AAA is? I swore they were around here"
Me: I'm not originally from around here myself..let me look at Mapquest for you and get you the directions.

Simple right? Yeah. It was. Until I started to look at the directions online. Just as I found them, something in her snapped I guess.

Lady;" I SWEAR IF THEY FUCKING MOVED I'M GONNA KILL THEM! FUCKING AAA MY CAR IS GOING CRAZY"

I'm just standing there looking at her, thinking shes kidding. A joke right? Well, jokes on me..she was serious. I let her to continue to rant and printed out the directions. I got the worded directions and the little map that comes with it and hand it to her and explain them.

Me: "We are here, and this is the route you want to take"
Lady: "I HATE THESE DIRECTIONS I NEED A MAP GIVE ME A FUCKING MAP"
Me: "The map is right here ma'am"

Of course, our printer only prints in black and white, so map is in black and white, but still very easy to read.

Lady: "ITS IN BLACK AND WHITE I FUCKING HATE BLACK AND WHITE DO YOU HAVE A COLORED MAP!?"
Me: "No Ma'am, I don't"

Pretty much by this time, everyone in the shop knew she was there and was confused about what was going on. My Temp Boss (The normal boss was off today and a stand in was present) had walked up and wanted to know what was going on. I let him take over and walked into the back trying my best to just get away from it. The Boss said he would look at her car and they both walked out.

Thinking that was it, I came back out and of course the room started to fill with chatter. Other Customers where like "She needs help" and whatnot and I totally agreed. About 5 minutes later, my boss comes walking back in and heads into the back to dial 911.

Needless to say, we waited 10 minutes for the cops to show up and during which the lady came back in saying she was tired of waiting for a MR. Dell to show up and told me to call Mr. Microsoft. I told her I would and walked into the back of the store. This time I grabbed all the clip boards and walked to the side door, calling each name out saying we had to work on their vehicle.

I just wanted to get the people out of the waiting room because this lady was dangerous. The way she was acting and slamming her fist down on stuff was enough to make anyone feel uncomfortable and I didn't want other people around for that.

So I kept the other customers in the garage until the police came. It was a lone Cop at the time and he was able to get her to leave the store. But she came running back in yelling she was being kidnapped. She looked straight to me and asked

"Can you help me?! This chinese communist is trying to kidnapp me and he wont give me back my license!"

The cop just looked at me and I told the lady upfront that I was unable to help her. He was able to get her out of the store a second time but this time he had to keep her from getting into her car. He ended up calling 5 other officers to the scene and some paramedics.

2 hours later, the lady was in the back of an ambulance and gone. There was alot of in between stuff and personally, I felt bad for the customers who where there that had to witness it. But personally, all of the team agreed that if the original boss was there, it could have been worse. He would have forced her out the door himself. Then we wouldn't know what would have happened next..probably something bad.
